We do not discard something we know to be true because of something we do not yet understand...beyond the veil of death, we will clearly understand the sacred mission and divine calling of the Prophet Joseph Smith (Neil L. Andersen).

Me: Joesph Smith was 100% true. I know, know, know, know.
Person: How?
Me: I KNOW. When I read the Book of Mormon, there is nothing like it. Watching the First Vision video makes moves me every time. When I read a prayer he said in D&C, I cried all the way through it. Why? Because the spirit testifies. I can feel it in my soul. I still pray to know just in case, and I always can feel it- It's true. I do not just believe- I know.
Person:
Me: *to Tumblr* And I just wanted to share that with you Tumblr. Because testimonies rock, and you never know when it will change someone. Lucky me for being on the internet. Keep the faith, the Church is true, and see you later.

A good novel requires 2 things; 1, a motif that appeals to the masses. 2, events that trigger a fantastic willful suspension of disbelief and relies on the reader to have faith that all the events could logically happen in the world presented.
Joesph Smith - Creator of Mormonism
i'd like to think joseph smith had a brief period of doubt in his life over whether or not he was truly God's prophet which led to a musical number that went: "am i a maaaaan, or am i a prophet?"
