Hey Samantha, I remember you mentioning having a VPN, and in light of recent events I was looking into getting one. Do you have any tips or advice to which I should try?

i use Private Internet Access which has been super great

it’s 8 bucks a month and it’s super bare bones which i like cuz i just need the primary function delivered in a simple way

i haven’t run into major lag or anything (i’ll turn it off if i want to play multiplayer games without any risk of lag but even if i leave it on it’s rarely an issue) and haven’t had any issue with servers ever. Hypothetically if I were to have been torrenting tons of movies with my internet provider i wouldn’t have run into a single problem right now (but ofc i haven’t been doing that)

only thing i’d caution is that if you put a laptop with it to sleep it will be off temporarily when you open it again as it needs a second to connect to the server but otherwise it’s a super easy vpn for beginners and i would 100% recommend it
