OLD ART ALERT LOL
funky shaped killers
I ONLY HAVE 30 TAGS!!! 😭
Hello! Im not sure if im supposed to request here but here i am :)
I would like to request Joey from the legion (and maybe ghostface if you feel like it) with an SO that was his lover before the fog but they got taken as a survivor while he got taken as a killer.
I hope you end up doing it but you totally dont have to if you dont feel like it! <3
Okay! I had to do some angst with this one because yes. This was so fun to write! I hope you enjoy!
The Legion/Joey
Joey doesn’t realize it’s you until he’s already mid-chase. The adrenaline is too much, the Entity’s influence too strong, his vision tunneled by bloodlust. You’re just another survivor—just food to satisfy the Entity’s hunger.
It’s only when you stumble and let out a sharp, familiar gasp that takes him out of his bloodlust trance. However, it was only enough to make him hesitate for half a second before his killer instincts kicked back in.
That half-second costs you. He catches up too fast. His blade drives into your side, piercing your flesh before his brain could catch up.
The second he looks up to meet your eyes and hears his name roll off your tongue, everything stops. He’s full of dread.
“...Joey—”
His entire body locks. His hand is still gripping the handle of the knife that’s deep into your side. He doesn’t move and just stares at you. There’s a suffocating pressure in his chest at the realization that he just hurt the one person he promised himself he would never hurt.
Unfortunately, he has a job to do, or punishment awaits him.
He pulls the knife out of your side, letting the tears roll down his face as he hears your screams of agony.
He forces himself to put you on his shoulder. He knows it’s wrong, but he has to. His grip is too tight at first, as if he doesn’t hold on, you’ll be gone forever.
Without thinking, he adjusts his hold so you can feel as comfortable as possible. His hold on you softens, and he even uses his free arm to support your head so you don’t hit it too hard on his shoulder.
You don’t fight him. That’s what messes him up the most.
No kicking. No struggling. No desperate attempts to get free.
You just go still in his arms, breathing unevenly, your hands weakly gripping his jacket. It makes his heart sink.
The walk to the hook feels longer than any trial he’s ever done. Every step feels dragged out. It’s agonizing.
His mind keeps flashing back to your guy’s life before the Entity’s realm. He missed your laugh. He missed you holding his hand. He even missed when you’d argue with him over stupid things
His memories of you guys together overlapped in his head in the worst way possible, knowing now that he has your blood on his hands and is responsible for your eternal suffering.
When he reaches the hook, he pauses. His body just… refuses to move.
He looks back at you, meeting your gaze as you stare at him. You’re not scared, just tired. He sees the hurt and betrayal written all over your face.
“It’s you, isn’t it, Joey?”
That’s what breaks any hesitation he had left.
He hooks you. Too fast. Too rough.
And in a second, he turns on his heel and leaves you as quickly as possible.
He doesn’t look at you for the rest of the trial. It’s not because he doesn’t want to. It’s because he can’t.
After that, every trial with you becomes worse. He starts overcompensating. He becomes more aggressive with survivors. He’ll end matches quicker. He’ll avoid you until he physically can’t.
He can’t get over the fact that you trusted him to protect you, and he’s broken that trust.
The Ghost Face/Danny Johnson
Danny recognizes you almost immediately. He goes still. He’s in complete shock. Why are you here in this dreadful place? A complete angel like you doesn’t deserve to suffer for all eternity.
He watches you longer than he should before making a move, studying the way you run, the way you check over your shoulder, the small habits that you never broke that make you, you.
Something is unsettling about seeing you in the realm. He doesn’t like it. He’s cursing under his breath. He knows the Entity brought you here to mess with him, and it’s working. You’re his precious S/O, and he promised to never lay a hand on you. However, the Entity is leaving him no choice.
He doesn’t reveal himself right away. He follows instead.
Quiet. Patient. Letting you think you’re alone.
When he finally does show himself, it's deliberate. Timed perfectly so you don’t have time to react, and so he doesn’t hesitate. He still has a job to do, and he knows that you’ll interfere with his ability to do that. If he just makes it quick, he can get it done, right???
As you turn around to face him, he already has his knife sheathed inside your stomach.
And the reaction he gets? It’s not fear, but shock and devastation.
“...Danny?”
His heart and soul were shattered in that very moment.
He doesn’t know what to do. He’s feeling all his emotions in one go.
He twists the knife deep inside your stomach, damaging your organs further. This causes you to scream in agony.
He rips the knife out with pure brutal force and watches you fall to the ground.
He stands over you for a few moments, watching your whimpering and quivering form as you put pressure on the knife wound that Danny made in your stomach.
After a moment, he crouches to look at you directly in your face.
He tilts his head, studying your face with the memories of you two together flashing in his mind. It made him sick.
“(Y/N)... You shouldn’t be here.”
You don’t respond right away. Just look at him with tears streaking down your face. He can see the hurt all over it.
He hates that you have to see this side of him. He hates that you still see him for him, even when you should be seeing him as the monster he truly is.
His jaw tightens under the mask.
He picks you up and throws you over his shoulder. His grip is firm, almost harsh.
The walk to the hook is steady. Controlled. No hesitation in his steps.
But his mind is loud. Too loud. He’s remembering things he doesn’t want to. Your voice. When you’d laugh at his stupid dad jokes. The way you would say his name.
When he reaches the hook, he doesn’t pause. But there is a fraction of a second when his hand tightens around you before he lifts you up.
You don’t scream when he hooks you. That’s what gets to him. You just breathe out sharply and look at him.
He steps back slowly, but doesn’t leave immediately. Just stands there for a second, staring. Then turns and walks away like nothing happened.
After that, he forms a pattern when you are in his trials. He saves you for last every time. It’s not out of mercy, but because he doesn’t want to think about hurting you until all your teammates are taken care of.
He never wants to think about the fact that he’s being forced to hurt the only good thing that has ever happened in his life. And, every time, the thought sits heavier in his chest than anything else.
the last boom shackalacka was when he threw that ref into the bleachers
I like Joey a lot because he’s one of the only cases in media where a character has Trichotillomania which is something I myself have suffered with for over a decade. (Not on my head however like Joey)
When I first read the comic I was so shocked I kept coming back to it again and again. No one ever talks about it which I assume is because it’s quite a niche thing but it means the world to me and also adds to his character. He clearly has a lot of pent up anxiety.
I can imagine him wearing a lot of hats to avoid touching his head
had some fun with this one, drew over the og meme template, but please do credit if you use 🫶
