The fact that Joey’ Legion costume looks so distinctly different from the other Legion members is really interesting to me. It’s another indicator of how he stands out, how he’s a part of them but doesn’t really feel like he fully belongs or that they fully understand him. I would say that’s a cool way a character’s design can tell you more about their character and how they fit into the world but I’m pretty sure the actual reason for this is racism
