John Chilton, Jazz Writer, R.I.P.
John Chilton was a superb British jazz journalist and biographer. His “Who’s Who In Jazz” became an indispensible reference. John was a generous soul who helped us considerably when we were first trying to establish Mosaic Records. This obit in The Telegraph focuses on his lesser known careers as a trumpeter and as a songwriter. John will be missed.
