[TW: abuse, torture, kidnapping. Longer replies preferred but replies don’t have to match the length] John looked around the small room numbly. He had been locked in the cold and dark room for over a week now and he had the privilege to share it with Sherlock. He was tired and hungry. Food came every two days and there was always water. John could feel himself going insane with touch starvation.
It had started off as a normal case. Lestrade had contacted Sherlock in relation to some disappearances that had happened around central London. There had been three of them, each of them missing for exactly a month and the case had been directed to Sherlock. It wasn’t quite as average as one expected, because each and every case involved a couple. Friends, lovers and even two business colleagues. Apart from that, there was no other links between any of them, or so it seemed at first. John just had to watch by as Sherlock tried to find the missing link between them all, convinced there had to be one.
It took Sherlock just under a day to find out that they had all visited the same bar within the week of their disappearances, so, with that, him and John headed towards the bar in question. Nothing much happened, they sat around and had a drink, pretended to be some average couple and then went back home. Sherlock didn’t find anything and John presumed that they would just try and find another link but that is where he was wrong because they had ended up here. Held captive and John wasn’t sure that they would ever escape. He just felt empty. He turned to look at Sherlock before he decided to speak. “Sherlock?”
