Should I do a "The Waltons" fanfic and what should it be about?
Watching The Waltons so I can fantasize about having a Good Dad.
Really liked the updated TV movie of “The Waltons” last night!!! :D They did a great job with it and really liked the cast they used and that they kept Richard now as the narrator and I knew some from other TV shows/movies I watch. Even updated at the end what happened to the characters and with their descendants in the present day. This was a remake of the original 1971 TV Christmas movie that ended up getting a series order but I only saw that once before and since some of the cast was recast for the show, which I grew up watching repeats of. I always related to John Boy being a writer myself and the whole family as it was similar to my Granny’s side, but also now relate even more to Mary Ellen. Was sad to see Ben no longer exists (unless he gets added back as a baby if this goes on) but I get it as they already had six kids, the parents, and the grandparents, and seems like both Jason and Jim Bob got some of his personality traits. Curious to see if this goes on into other future TV movies or a new TV show, but totally works on it’s own as a one-off Christmas movie.
