Jonathan Tropper, This is Where I Leave You
I haven't fallen in love with a book in a long time. It's been years since I opened the cover and found myself enraptured by a protagonists voice, wrapped up in the story as if it were a giant octopus winding it's tentacles around my brain. It feels good to be so oblivious to the world for hundreds of pages of fabricated lives and emotions. I think I really needed that.
Orange Is the New Black 1x06 - Red reads This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper.
The life you build feels like the entire world, and when it's suddenly gone, the world doesn't make sense for a while.
One Last Thing Before I Go by Jonathan Tropper
Book of Joe, by Johnathan Tropper
I wasn't a big fan of Jonathan Tropper's book This Is Where I Leave You but I am so excited for the movie version!! Because oh my god, look at the cast.
Everyone always wants to know how you can tell when it's true love, and the answer is this: when the pain doesn't fade and the scars don't heal, and it's too damned late.
