Dear readers,

To everyone waiting for updates on my works, including The Samsara Cycle, My Heart Became Yours, and In the Shadow of Memories:

I’m sorry, but there won’t be any updates for the foreseeable future.

I am currently grieving, and I don’t know when I’ll be able to write without pouring that grief into my characters.

I read every comment left on my stories, and I am deeply grateful for every single one of them. Thank you for staying with me, for your support, and for your patience.

Girls (and boys), I've fallen in love, lol. My new life goal is to get this man. And cry over the fact that he isn't a favorite... even though he'll always be my number one in my heart.

God, I want Jinx to get a spin-off about Potato and Heesung so badly. I'll say it outright—I genuinely love them more than the main couple, simply because I could never forgive Jaekyung. (I'm not looking to argue about that.)

BUT JUST IMAGINE how amazing their spin-off would be?? It's literally the "I'll dump him whenever I want" → "oh shit I think I'm in love" trope.

JUST IMAGINE Heesung being the one chasing after Yoon-gu, trying to prove he's serious this time and willing to do whatever it takes to earn his trust. CAN YOU PICTURE THAT?? AHHHHH.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this idea. And since Potato is a bit more of a little menace than Dan, I'm convinced he'd actually make Heesung work for it. I NEED THIS. PLEASE. GIVE ME THIS, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS.

God bless the authors who give us big, muscular bottoms that are the same height as the top—or even taller. I'm so tired of seeing tiny, fragile bottoms paired with huge, bulky tops. On the other hand, when the tiny, delicate guy is the top? NOW YOU'VE GOT MY ATTENTION.

Why do so many people still act like being taller automatically makes guy the top? That trope is so outdated. 🥱

I even have a small collection of manhwa with this kind of dynamic. P.S. If anyone wants recs, I'd be happy to share a few (⌒‐⌒)

So, what exactly did we get from this update? A bunch of duplicate cards AND a rerun that WE have to pay for. I'm actually crying.

It's basically: "Oh, you're unhappy and want Valko back? Okay, we didn't listen... but would you like to give us more money? 🥺"

This morning I noticed that the total number of user reviews was lower than it had been last night. I decided to keep an eye on it, and in less than four hours, 122 reviews disappeared.

Can we talk about how «Koisuru Psycho no Shirayuki-kun» is basically about a psycho guy who wanted nothing more than to date a cute boy, only to end up pulling 25/8 as his personal bodyguard because the entire city keeps coming after his baby?

I like the idea that after "Hikaru' and Yoshiki return to the village and finally start living peacefully like ordinary people, as they get closer to starting university, 'Hikaru' begins thinking more and more about what else he could do to make Yoshiki happy. He's started noticing that it bothers him more and more that, as a human, Yoshiki can't experience the joy of souls touching the way he can. And he wants—he really, really wants—Yoshiki to feel something just as wonderful.

So, with all his curiosity, 'Hikaru' began searching the internet. While the initial answers were harmless—massages, hugs, etc.—then they became increasingly more piquant, until he discovered that it was possible to be intimate with men just like with women.

He had no sexual desires or whims; he'd never even considered them, and he wasn't lying about his love being deeper than romantic. But the desire to see such a Yoshiki? It was overwhelming.

Needless to say, when 'Hikaru' suggested it, poor Yoshiki almost choked on his onigiri and spent the entire day avoiding him—until 'Hikaru' finally cornered him in the storage shed. In hindsight, maybe that tentacle video really had been educational.

In other words, I think 'Hikaru' would want this aspect of their relationship to feel just as mutual as everything else. The same way they share conversations, comfort, and support, he'd want them to find a way where they're both equally happy .

I genuinely see 'Hikaru' as asexual and aromantic. But for Yoshiki, I believe he'd still try to find their way of expressing intimacy—one that feels comfortable for both of them. The kind of connection where they understand each other without needing words.

IMO, SPOILER‼️ the way Hikaru is constantly thinking, "Would Yoshiki approve of this?" or "He'd probably be upset..." says everything. Then he literally gives up a part of himself because Yoshiki doesn't want him hurting anyone. And he wanted to go back to the mountain so Yoshiki could have a happy life, even if it meant living without him.

This guy is the ultimate simp. He's completely, hopelessly in love with an ordinary human, lmao. And he's exactly where he wants to be (even if it comes with a non-zero chance of getting stabbed).

The Hoodie Theory

For most of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji wears the red hoodie that Gojo gave him.

In Japan, red is often associated with life force, the sun, protection from evil spirits, and good fortune. Back then, Yuji was only beginning to learn about the world of curses and still had a relatively naive view of life.

But as we know, Yuji changed over time. The loss of friends and the deaths of countless people left deep scars on him. Even so, he kept moving forward because he didn't want their sacrifices to be meaningless.

So what do we see in the Module? A white hoodie—one he constantly wears while fighting.

One of the common meanings of white in Japanese culture is mourning and emptiness. Yuji is mourning everyone he has lost, and perhaps he is unable to let go of the past.

You could even argue that if the last person he truly cares about were to die, Yuji would stop expecting anything good from life altogether. In the eyes of the higher-ups, he would finally become exactly what they always wanted him to be: a tool for dealing with curses.

And by that point, Yuji might not even care anymore. He would simply continue fighting so that people could die proper deaths—not young, and not at the hands of sorcerers or curses.

Every time I read a fic where Yuuji gets ship with someone who isn't Yuuta, and Yuuta is dating Inumaki or somebody else, my brain short-circuits a little, lol.

I always end up running back to reread my favorite Okkoita fics. They've become such a comfort to me that I sometimes forget they're not canon, haha.

P.s. This is flirting, and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

So, here are a few more of my theories, because Suguriko have completely stolen my heart.

I genuinely believe that Suguru started going down a dark path the moment he witnessed Riko's death and saw how horribly people treated her afterward. It felt like no one really mourned her properly except for him. I'm not counting Satoru here — everything was far too complicated for him at that point, lol.

And when I realized just how deeply it affected Suguru, the headcanons practically started writing themselves.

My favorite one is that Suguru and Riko are reincarnated as ordinary people. They can’t see curses, they know nothing about jujutsu, and they get to live simple, carefree lives.

They’re born in a small town where everyone knows each other and end up growing up next door. Since Suguru is two years older than Riko, he naturally becomes the one who scares off the bullies she keeps picking fights with. Maybe he also scares away a few of her admirers along the way, but who could really blame him?

He always found her fiery personality endearing — the way she'd stubbornly lift her chin and pout whenever she couldn't win an argument against him. He'd simply nod along and buy her something sweet afterward to make up for his "crime" of proving her wrong.

So when Riko turns seventeen and Suguru is nineteen, he finally makes his feelings official and starts courting her properly. The entire town practically breathes a sigh of relief when they become a couple, because Suguru finally stops glaring at every young man who dares to get within five meters of Riko.

After finishing their studies and no longer having anything tying them down, the two of them begin to travel. First across Japan, then eventually around the world. Their parents can barely keep up with the constant stream of postcards and photographs sent home by the happy couple.

In the last photo, standing in the middle of a field, Suguru is hugging Riko from behind, his face buried in her hair while she laughs brightly at the camera. One hand is stretched out in front of her, proudly displaying the engagement ring on her finger.

And the sun shines warmly over them, lighting their path and blessing them with the happy future they were always meant to have.

GOD, I NEED an Okkoita AU where Yuji used to protect Yuta back in middle school without knowing anything about curses. Then Yuta transfers to another school and only occasionally answers Yuji’s phone calls because he’s always claiming he “doesn’t have time” — when in reality, he just doesn’t want to put Yuji in danger.

Year later, they meet again after Yuji enrolls at the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, and the whole truth finally comes out.

And Yuji is absolutely thrilled to see how strong Yuta has become since the last time they met. He keeps telling himself it’s just admiration for his senpai, right up until Yuta finally runs out of patience and kisses him during one of their reunions, right in front of everyone, just to make things crystal clear.

Every year I become more and more convinced that I've finally outgrown ships built entirely on unhealthy dynamics. Surely I've matured. Surely it's time for friends-to-lovers, mutual pining, soft domestic moments, awkward confessions, healthy communication, and all the other sweet romance tropes.

And every year I genuinely believe it.

Then life somehow presents me with an entirely new, previously undiscovered form of psychological torment. A brand new flavor of emotional devastation. A relationship dynamic so catastrophically bad for my mental well-being that it should probably come with a warning label.

And my immediate reaction is basically:

I was thinking about something.

Would it really have been that hard for Gege to create at least one more immortal being?

Not necessarily someone who would be Yuji's emotional support, but at least someone who could remind him of his real life—not the one where he's constantly carrying the weight of both the past and the future. Honestly, even if it had been some random immortal villain, it would've been something. People need stability, and my old man would've had at least a little of that, even in such a strange form.

Okay, maybe a second immortal human would've been a bit much. But what about an immortal... I don't know, dog? Or even a hamster. Why couldn't Yuji have someone he would never have to bury? Someone who could still be there to greet him in his new life when he eventually becomes a cursed object.

I mean, damn, even Sukuna had Uraume lol. Is Yuji somehow less deserving?

I'll probably keep crying about this right alongside Choso. And I'll keep comforting myself with the thought that big brother would definitely wait for him, even if everyone else ends up reincarnating. Because if nobody is there waiting for him in the end... honestly, I think that's one of the most depressing outcomes imaginable.
