John holds up the camera and waves a bit awkwardly.

"Hello, everyone! Sorry, it's been a while since my last video," he rubs the back of his neck a bit shyly. "Since Rosie has begun walking, it's been a lot busier around 221 B."

He points the camera at the flat, showing the hodgepodge of baby's toys and Sherlock's books and papers. "Tell me you live with two children without telling me you live with two children."

"I heard that," came the dry, unamused voice of Sherlock. "I put my chemicals on a higher shelf. I'm not a child, I listen."

"Yeah," John walks from the living area and into the kitchen where Sherlock is sitting behind his microscope. "Rosie still listens better than you."

"Give me one example," Sherlock leans away from his microscope and folds his arms expectantly.

"She goes down to bed when it's time for bed, with minimal whining," John begins. "She eats all of her vegetables, she lets me wipe her face when it's-"

"I let you wipe my face!"

"You thrash, Sherlock!"

"...Don't upload the video."

"Sherlock, it's live."

"..."

The live ends suddenly, with Sherlock a blur, rushing towards the camera.

Different ways the boys say I love you

Sherlock:

-buys the milk

-lights the fire for john

-will stop whatever hes playing/writing to play music john likes on the violin when he gets home

-excludes John's mug from being a victim in his experiments.

-puts the kettle on but thankfully doesnt attempt to make tea. Hes bloody awful at making tea.

John:

-makes them tea.

-keeps a pack of cigarettes for sherlock hidden in his room. Just for when hes being a good little detective.

-hangs up holiday decorations as sherlock complains because the man secretly loves them.

-makes a show of being rude to Mycroft on occasion.

-winks at sherlock when he does something brilliant.

-a hand may be found carding through sherlock holmes' hair from behind at approximately 7:30 am every week day.

Sorry it’s late!!! but here’s your john x sherlock headcannon

so SHERLOCK PROPOSING TO JOHN

BECAUSE JOHN DOESN’T WANT TO PRESSURE SHERLOCK INTO SOMETHING THAT HE DOESN’T WANT TO DO

and so John just decides one day

‘you know what, I’ll let sherlock decide when its right’

because he doesn’t want to make his not too affectionate bae uncomfortable because john watson is a good person

and so they end up being like, 45 and just happy in each others company

and one day sherlock decides to ask ‘hey, why aren’t we married?’ just out of the blue

and john replies simply ‘I never felt the need to rush you’

and Sherlock just sits there in silence for a couple of minutes before almost diving towards john and giving him a kiss

john’s sort of surprised but goes along with it

over the next few days john notices sherlock being a little more secretive than normal

to the point where he locked the cupboard in their room

“William Sherlock SCOTT HOLMES I HAVE CLOTHES IN THERE”

sherlock chuckling like a kid on fucking christmas

Eventually Sherlock unlocks the cabinet but only if he was in the room alone

John being slightly afraid that there’s a body in their cupboard

So John tries to be all investigative and tries to figure out what Sherlock is doing

And Sherlock just thinks its adorable how John is trying so hard to find out

And he thinks Sherlock doesn’t know he’s investigating either

At one point, Sherlock makes an offhand comment about going to see his parents with John in summer

And two weeks late they’re driving up to the Holmes family cottage

Sherlock’s parents keep calling him ‘Will’ piss him off and he just rolls his eyes and keeps doing whatever he’s doing

At one point, his mum calls out ‘Will’ for him and it takes him a full 5 minutes to register that he’s being called by his mother

one night, John wakes up because there’s light coming through the window

And he looks over to see if Sherlock’s awake, only to see that his side of the bed is empty

So he goes outside of Mr and Mrs Holmes house to see a bunch of candles creating a sort of a path for John

So he follows this path of candles just thinking ‘Jesus I must be dreaming’

And he gets to the end and it’s a little circle of candles with Sherlock in the middle looking nervous

‘Wow I really am dreaming’

And Sherlock sees him and gives him this beaming smile

’Screw that, I’m not dreaming, I’m dead and this is heaven’

He goes up to Sherlock and Sherlock looks down at him

And has this little smile

John just looks so confused and adorable in his pyjama’s

Sherlock’s slowly kneeling down in front of John and takes both his hands into his, looking up at john with these beautiful blue puppy eyes

And brings out a black velvet box

And John just burst into tears

And Sherlock is trying to say the whole shebang

And John cuts him off with a huge kiss

And they make out for a bit surrounded by candles

Sherlock almost drops the box in surprise

They end up back at the house at around 3 o’clock in the morning

But john’s too buzzed to go to sleep

So they stay up on the couch and talk

Eventually, John falls asleep on Sherlock’s chest

And Sherlock’s parents come down in the morning to see John with a ring on his finger and Sherlock with a happy smile

Sherlock’s mother going up to him and patting Sherlock on the cheek affectionately

“See my darling? I told you he’d say yes”

Johnlock Christmas

22) Sherlock wakes up really early, to surprise John. He bathes the living room walls in tinsel and starts baking their special Christmas breakfast, gingerbread cookies with caramel ice cream and earl grey tea. By the time John wakes up and walks in the living room, breakfast is on the table and Sherlock is sitting in his chair, waiting patiently. 'Finally,' says Sherlock, when he sees John. John smiles, and gives him a kiss on the cheek, causing Sherlock to blush. 'Thank you my consulting detective,' he says grinning.

Johnlock Headcannon

The night before their wedding John and Sherlock stay in different houses, John at Greg and Mycroft's house and Sherlock stays at Baker Street with Mycroft sleeping on the couch to keep an eye on Sherlock. Sherlock ends up having a panic attack because he's scared John would change his mind and leave before the wedding.Mycroft tries to calm his brother down but has to call John. In the end John comes back to Baker Street and cuddles with Sherlock reassuring him that he would never leave.

Afte The Fall, John slept in Sherlock’s bed until he finally moved out but he laid a note on Sherlock’s pillow for him that told Sherlock that he’d slept in his bed and about how he’d missed him so much and all the things he’d always wanted to say to Sherlock but never could.
