During lockdown I have been listening to a lot of music and have been spending a lot of time on Instagram, so I decided to combine the two and make a series of band templates for Instagram story music challenges. This is the Stone Sour one. Enjoy!
Stone Sour - Song #3
STONE SOUR - Absolute Zero
🤘
Stone Sour's cover of Unchained is pretty killer
Song: Fabuless Band: Stone Sour Album: Hydrograd Year Released: 2017 Label: RoadRunner Producer: Jay Ruston
My top 10 underrated Stone Sour songs
These are some of my favourite SS songs that I think deserve some more recognition!
10. Thank God It’s Over
I think this is a really underrated song on Hydrograd and there are some really fun riffs going on through the song. I also like the solo that’s in a major key, which they don’t do a lot.

9. Hell & Consequences
I know this song was performed live but I think it at least deserved a music video! I love the guitar in the chorus. One of my favourite songs on Come What(ever) May.

8. Miracles
Underrated song off of Audio Secrecy, really beautiful song. They did do an acoustic version, so I guess it’s not so hidden in the album, but a wonderful tune none the less.

7. Peckinpah
Off of House of Gold and Bones pt2, I really like it, it’s a really awesome song.

6. Imperfect
A gorgeous song that totally deserved to be a single. Corey’s live version was really nice too.

5. Hydrograd
I can’t believe they haven’t played this live yet, such a good song. Lyrics are great and being the title track, I wish they’d made more of a deal out of it.

4. The Witness Trees
Just the opening guitar line on this song gets you excited to hear the rest. Really cool song, sets the tone for Hydrograd I think.

3. The Uncanny Valley
Oh. My. God. What a song. The guitar brings this song up a few spots for me. The drumming, vocals and guitar all stand out and I think this is possibly the best song on House of Gold and Bones pt2.

2. Pieces
One of my top songs on the standard version of Audio Secrecy. Awesome solo, but the vocals in the chorus make this song amazing for me. So underapreciated, really wish they’d performed it live.

1. Anna
It’s really hard to choose between Anna and Pieces (as you can tell Audio Secrecy is pretty much my favourite Stone Sour album), but Anna is a hidden gem in their discography. The musicianship on here really shines through and the creative chord progressions make the song different to all their others. Personally, I think it should’ve made it onto the standard version of the album instead of being and extended track. The lyrics as well are really unique and add to the beauty of the song.
