◬Fear of needles, female pronouns, piercings, a teensy weensy bit of crying, usage of pet names (Baby, baby girl)◬
A/N: A little thing for one of my faves, Happy Birthday to this baby <3 I must admit I did this in such a short amount of time so I apologize if there isn't much detail but enjoy :)
"Okay you ready?"
"Yes..."
Terushima sighs before crouching down to your eye level, "No you're not."
You look down to your twirling fingers, "I'm sorry..."
"What did I tell you about apologizing? Baby, take your time, I know how much you hate needles and I promise you, I won't be mad if you want to stop."
"I feel like I'm wasting your time though.." you whisper, still not meeting his eyes. That's until a finger slides under your chin and lifts your gaze into his warm gaze.
"I'd be honored to have my time wasted by you. Do you wanna stop?"
You shake your head quickly.
Terushima smiles sadly at you before going to your shared bedroom and grabbing your favorite plushie, Bubbles the jellyfish, he hands it to you and says, "As much as I hate this thing, hold onto him if it stings okay?"
You giggle slightly and nod.
You take a steadying breath in before closing your eyes, waiting for the sting of the needle on your ear. Terushima carefully holds your ear and pricks it.
A small whimper escapes you, tears prick your lash line, and your arms start shaking ever so slightly around Bubbles as Terushima places the earring in.
"All done! You did so good, baby." He praises as he removes his gloves and gives you a small kiss on your cheek. He quickly notices the tear cascading down your cheek.
"Hey nonono, don't cry. You finished it's okay, everything's okay." He grabs your face and squishes your cheeks slightly making your plump lips pucker out.
He smiles reassuringly before placing a sweet kiss on your lips. It's slow and comforting. Making you forget your stinging ear, "You're okay...You did better than last time, that's progress right?"
You just sniffle in response and nod slightly.
"Say, why don't we go get some ice cream? And I'll buy you anything you want."
"Anything?"
"Anything."
He kisses your cheek again as he intertwines your fingers with yours, "Anything for my baby girl."

shiratorizawa:
- they are intimidating intimidating ... ushijima, tendou, goshiki, shirabu, semi... they can give the coldest glares
- if ushijima ever sees someone asking for your phone number he’ll just look from afar because he knows you can handle situations like that by yourself ... but if the other person doesn’t back down, he’ll walk behind you and sat something like, “can’t you tell that our manager doesn’t want anything to do with you”
- ushijima will just stand there next to you protectively until the other person walks off
- tendou would make fun of the people hitting on you, “oh so you think you have a chance with our y/n ?? that’s interesting...”
- semi would just roll his eyes at them and guide you back
fukurodani:
- fukurodani is... a mix of chill but also protective
- if akaashi and konoha ever catches someone hitting on you... their eyes will narrow and say the most interesting remarks under their breath while gently nudging you away
- once, another player tried to ask for your number and bokuto walked over and said, “y/n’s not interested... how do i know? how would i not” he huffed
- but also, they have confidence in you and knows you can stand up for yourself !!
- fukurodani is very protective but also really laid back
johzenji:
- johzenji are also really laid-back and chill
- when people try hitting on you, they’re like “woah buddy, chill, that’s our manager...”
- terushima would just put one hand on the other guy’s shoulder and say something like, “if you’re gonna walk around doing nothing, might as well go practice those serves so they can actually land in the court”
- but johzenji are seriously so chill and cheerful. they’re protective over you but doesn’t see it as too big of a deal and will laugh it off

"That was a reckless move back there, you know." You remark, shrugging off your uncomfortable servant’s suit.
"TAKE MY HAND!"
"It was cool though, you can't deny that." Terushima replies with a snicker, throwing a wad of cash up in the air and catching it with vigor.
You’re too busy panicking to really process his words. "WHAT?"
"JUST TAKE MY HAND!" He repeats, his hand out for you to grab.
Those mafioso’s are shooting up their own damn home behind you. Their bullets rebounding against unpierceable objects and shooting straight through fragile ones burn a loud irritation in your ears. The good thing is they couldn’t hear your shouting, the bad thing is that they’re shooting at everything and anything. Luckily they hadn’t reached the sofa you were hiding behind yet, though it wouldn’t be long.
Your only hope was whatever Teru had in his maniacal mind. You take his hand with a little hesitation, to which he smirks. “HOLD ON TIGHT!”
He snatches the doggy couch cover –the one for those big, terrifying big danes of the suite– and begins to run towards the… window, dragging you with him.
You shouldn’t have trusted him. “FUCK YOU YŪJI!”
He pulls you onto his back, grabs each corner of the cover in hand, and jumps straight through the window.
For a moment, time seems to slow down. Shards of sharp glass whizz past your body, your clutch on his body tightens, and you begin to fall.
Now, sometimes, scratch that; usually, Teru was stupid. Right now, you suppose he’s smart. Either that, or it’s dumb luck.
The cover, with the miracle of some kind of movie magic, works against the force of the air and allows you to fall slower than you would if… well, if you didn’t have it.
“We’re fineee, love. We’re safe now.” You can almost hear his grin.
“Say that once we’re actually safe, Yūji.” You’re sure your voice cracks somewhere in that sentence. Now, you’re not afraid of heights or anything, but anybody would be scared while falling through the air for their first time.
Soon, you make it to the ground, where one of your loyal getaway drivers, Bobata, is waiting; you’ve secured two bags full of cash and your wellbeing.
"Besides, we're here now, aren't we?!" He practically skips towards you, wrapping his arms around you in a sorta hug.
“Suppose we are.” You reply.
“Oh and, one thing, darling,” He pecks you on the lips, then pouts. “Don’t swear at me, please. I know I put your life on the line, but it hurts me a little.”
“Okay, okay,” You roll your eyes, which he’s about to protest about but you say something first, “unfuck you then.”

shiratorizawa aren’t overly protective of you. they look out for you but they won’t actively try to scare off anyone who tries to talk to you
thing is, they don’t even need to. they’re intimidating enough with the combination of their reputation and just the way they look that people are hesitant about approaching you
however, if you’re ever in an uncomfortable situation, the boys are on it immediately. you’re their precious manager, and they truly appreciate everything you do for them, so they’d never let anything happen to you
the first time someone tried to hit on you at a tournament and wouldn’t take no for an answer, they all pretty much surrounded the guy, not even getting to say much before he bolted
but by crowding him, they also crowded you, and that you seemed a bit overwhelmed by it no matter how much you loved your boys. this lead to a very serious club room discussion about what they should do if it ever happens again
they end up with a very specific system that they follow - goshiki and tendou take turns getting you out of there, 9/10 times by picking you up and carrying you away. they don’t even try to get the guy to back off, they’re just physically removing you (and also showing off that they’re strong)
“nope. not happening. not today.”
the rest of them stand at a distance and stare at the guy, glaring daggers
it’s all very specific and detailed. the ones standing to the side even have a set formation for maximum intimidation.
they’d never tell you about it though, because some of them (shirabu) think its embarrassing, but they still know it like the back of their hands and always stick to it
they always try to make sure to brighten your mood after as well, whether it be through stupid puns or lightly ruffling your hair
i can see taichi just booping your nose when you’re brought over to them with a stoic expression. i can see it.
the seijoh boys are stupidly protective over you. oikawa’s the most obnoxious about it (you have to tell him to stop it every time, and he only listens for about ten minutes)
if anyone tries to flirt with you, oikawa is instantly draped over you, agreeing with whatever they were saying with the fakest smile
“yeah, our manager is pretty cute, right? too bad for you that she’s ours - she’s off limits, sorry~”
iwa’s actually the most serious about protecting you, even if he keeps it quiet. if anyone approaches you he is instantly on guard and keeping an annoyingly close eye on them
if anyone’s making you uncomfortable, he won’t hesitate to step between you and pull you away, completely ignoring anything the person has to say about it
but if someone’s being really gross? or god forbid an ex shows up? the whole team’s going in
they can be pretty intimidating when they want to be, considering they’re all pretty tall and can get Serious, especially when it comes to their precious manager
kyoutani Will get physically violent, but only if you’re not watching. he doesn’t want you to be scared of him, but he’s not against punching someone for you (if you are around, he’ll settle for intimidating glares)
mattsun and makki will sometimes pretend to be your boyfriends to get you out of there. they always wing it, and if they ever end up doing it at the same time, they’ll just roll with it and pretend you’re polyamorous. they also continue to jokingly call you babe afterwards to cheer you up
kunimi just stares threateningly from a distance. he’s sitting on the floor and the person talking to you makes the mistake of glancing over at him and making eye contact. now they can’t keep looking back over to see if he’s looked away. he never has. it’s disconcerting and they find an excuse to leave so he’ll stop
kindaichi is just ridiculously tall (mans taller than bloody ushijima) and thats enough. he always gets confused as to how he intimidates them coz he doesn’t really try but it works
johzenji getting protective is like 90% just terushima getting jealous
if someone’s flirting with you he’s putting a stop to it, but if they’re actually succeeding he hates it more somehow
he’ll just insert himself between you and the person you’re talking to and start flirting with you instead. if the person gets mad at him, he’ll just pull the fact that you’re johzenji’s manager, not theirs
“sorry pal, were you saying something to our manager?”
he’s just mad that he can’t get girls even though he tries so hard and the one he’s actually kind of close to is getting flirted with, like if it didn’t work for him it’s not allowed to work for anyone else
gets to the point where if he sees you talking to anyone around your age, he’s getting in the way of it on instinct

usually, the rest of the team doesn’t really get involved unless you’re visibly uncomfortable
but then, they’re dragging you away like a small herd of dogs. they act like the person isn’t even there, pretending there’s some very important manager thing you need to do right this second
they’re very loud and there’s a lot of them so the person doesn’t even get a chance to argue.
they’re pretty feral honestly i feel like they might bark at the person sometimes
