Join Together
"Even though it was not something he might normally gift, he went out of his way to procure this jaw harp for you...and that memory has always filled you with joy and the love of music..."
Join Together - The Who
If you are looking to use a classic rock song in your advertisement/film/trailer/show/whatever that will convey a sense of cooperation and unity while also being a bit of a bop, and think that Come Together by the Beatles is a good choice: No!!! The lyrics of that song alternate between nonsense and innuendo that might be about bukkake! The song you are looking for is Join Together by the Who, whose lyrics are in fact about cooperation and unity! And it is still a bop!
While it is very important to stay informed, we must not let ourselves drown in despair. Turn to your chosen family, your community (both local and online), your Grove, Coven, Kindred or other spiritual family (if you have one), and your gods or spirits you work with. I myself am currently leaning on my spiritual family and the kind and gentle Moon Goddess Selene.
Here has been my preferred devotional poem for calling on her:
Hail Silver Lady,
Selene of the Shining Brow,
With ebon dark hair,
Flowing beneath your lunar crown.
Waxing, full, waning, new,
Your ever changing form,
In contrast to your constant love for all of humankind.
Gentle mother,
Caressing lover,
Elegant Queen of the nighttime world.
Forever gazing down on all that you hold dear,
As you ride your gilded chariot amongst the ancient stars.
