Outlandish past 18 hours I don't even live near new york how did I get here
OH WAIT I COMPLETELY FORGOT I went to the JoJo Caravan event this Sunday!!!
I got to see the original pieces of Araki's SBR drawings- pale blue colored-pencil sketches and all- which was so so cool. I hadn't realized the tiny Tusk on the Caravan advertisement poster was drawn on a different piece of paper & glued on, lol.
I also took a photo at the photo booth :D I picked the Phantom Blood frame, bc Jonathan is my beloved best boi. Also see me wearing the Aerosmith shirt I got just a few days ago lol.
There were so many people in line that I didn't dare take another photo with the Vento Aureo frame, but I'm very happy with how this one turned out, hehe. I saw most people were choosing the Stardust Crusaders frame though. No surprise I guess, Jotaro is very popular. But I did overhear the three guys in front of me complaining about the frames being JoJo + main villain, bemoaning the lack of Kakyoin in the SDC frame. They chose the Phantom Blood frame and the SDC frame, claiming they're "the two fundamentals [of the JJBA storyline]".
AND I met a Gyro cosplayer!! She was with a Kobeni(from Chainsaw Man) cosplayer, since there was apparently a Chainsaw Man collab café on a higher floor(the JoJo Caravan was on the ground floor). I later saw Gyro posing in front of the JoJo Caravan logo printed on the partition they put up, with Kobeni crouched on the floor trying to get a good angle for a photo.
I got some merch too, but I forgot to take photos/didn't even open the SBR postcard pack and the gold-leafed photo cards yet. I'll post pictures of them later if ppl want, bc I'm kinda sleepy rn haha.

I am glad to see that the whole Shibuya is full of JOJO
