Kakyoin X Reader "His Earings" (One Shot)

As a flaming homosexual, Kakyoin has always made me look in the other direction. It's like the joke about how you're gay but you're straight for that one guy/girl. That's how I felt when I first saw Kakyoin. So at the time that I was falling for this man I wrote a little something something. Enjoy :)

Warnings: Fluff, and some flirting.

Word Count: 517

This is during crusaders and you get put in a room with Kakyoin because he’s one of the guys who definitely drinks his respect women’s juice. Also, Polnareff wanted to room with Jotaro that night. 

Kakyoin was sleeping in one of the beds and you were up because you couldn’t sleep. You try to find ways to entertain yourself until you realize Kakyoin took off his earrings and they were sitting on his nightstand. 

You take the opportunity to try them on As you did you smile in the mirror, happy with the view and making weird faces imitating Kakyoin. Like, “Polnareff, stop fooling around we need to defeat the stand user.” Or “This restaurant is really nice I’m going to be super extra and get something that screams I’m fancy.” 

Now finally getting tired you go back into the room and grab your other pairs of pj’s because the ones you were wearing were too hot from fooling around. Coming back from the bathroom with your new outfit you flop down on your bed and finally fall asleep. 

The next morning Kakyoin is the first one to wake up and starts getting ready. 

(because he actually takes the longest to get ready, too busy trying to get that right curl in the hair.) 

Then he realizes he can’t find his earrings.

Looking around everywhere, he eventually spotted you sound asleep and saw that you still had his earrings on.

Smiling to himself out of cuteness, he chuckles a bit.

“Well, that's a sight I will enjoy.” 

Letting it be, he chills in one of the chairs reading his book.

When you wake up you head to the restroom to get ready.

Kakyoin follows you and leans on the door frame with one hand on his hip like the sassy boi he is.

Rubbing your eyes with your head down, you finally look up when he says.

“Good morning ‘Kakyoin’, how’d you sleep?”

Jumping at the sudden comment you look at yourself and at Kakyoin through the mirror.

Finally realizing that you still had on his earring you turn back to him flushed and embarrassed.

“My bad I was just messing around. A-and-”

He Cuts you off by lifting up your chin gently but enough for you to meet his eyes. Then smiles his sweet smile as he tilts your face side to side so that he can get a good look at the earring on you.

“You don’t need to apologize silly, besides...”

He then turned you back around to the mirror so that you could see yourself and him standing behind you with his hands around your arms.

And one of them lifts up to lightly touch one of the earrings and proceeds to get real close to your ear.

“I think they look lovely on you, it even makes the blush on your cheeks cuter.”

As he whispered those words you then shut down with more heat rising to your face and shiver at the sound of his voice messing with you.   

He even let you wear them during breakfast with the other guys.

Random thought: Has that really been living in your head rent-free?

Me: yeah why? 

Random thought: Well I’m just concerned. I mean you thought about the same thing with Polnareff and you drew yourself wearing the earring, bought them, and wrote about it. Are you okay?

Me: Yes I am, I'm just a hopeless romantic :)
