If I'm being honest I'm not really in any of your fandoms! 😅 I want to get into Marvel but I have no idea where to even start! It always seems so cool but whenever I try to get into it I end up starting off at the wrong point. Recommendations?
Marvel IS so cool, you’re right
It may seem a little overwhelming, but there’s only 22 films (that may seem like a lot, but the amount of time you spend watching that is the same amount of time as you would spend watching an American show with 2 seasons, so it’s really not that long)
Have you seen any of the marvel films? There are a bunch of sites with the order of the movies, and you definitely have to follow that order because they all link together. (Make sure you follow the movies in order of release rather than chronological order. Some are set in the past, like captain marvel, but it’s important that you watch it after the others - it’s kinda like a prequel? Like, you have to know stuff from the current movies in order to understand a lot of the references in Captain Marvel)
The first movies are Iron Man one and two, then it’s Captain America: The First Avenger, and it’s set in the 1940’s during the war, and it’s REALLY good. (The rest of the movies take place in present day, this is the only one set in the past. And if - like me - you’re not a fan of things set in the past, don’t worry, because this one is worth it.)
Sorry, that was a long answer. My point is: definitely watch the movies! And watch them in the correct order.
