1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

Dany/Drogo (ASOIAF) - Nothing about this relationship is healthy or romantic, in either the books or the show, and the number of people who believe otherwise really disturbs me (especially considering Dany’s age in the books). Then again, GRRM himself romanticizes it, so I suppose it’s understandable.

Jon/Sansa (ASOIAF) - They have the least close relationship of all the Starks, so why the hell is this the most popular Sansa pairing after Sandor and Margaery? And even assuming R+L=J, it’s still incest and they were still raised as siblings, so…no.

Bellamy/Clarke (The 100) - I don’t have a huge problem with this one, I like their dynamic, they work well together and obviously care about each other a lot, but I haven’t seen any indication of romantic feelings on either end. Obviously that’s a matter of interpretation, but I don’t get how some people are so hardcore about it (even to the point of harassing the actors and writers).

Piper/Alex (OITNB) - They’re both terrible people and they’re terrible for each other. How anyone can still want them together after S3 is beyond me.

Do you know of A Little In Love? If so what's your opinion of it?

Is that the novelized Eponine-centered fic/sequel/whatever?  If so, I know vaguely *of* it, but I haven’t read it and don’t really intend to. I’d be interested in hearing from people who have, though!

9: Do you think you’d get along with your OC if you met them? Why or why not?

Hnnn maybe? Probably. I mean, probably neither of us would be all that up to actually becoming friends, I don’t think she’d bother to with me and I have my whole anxiety thing, but I don’t think we’d be enemies at all, so.

18: Is your OC employed? If so, what is their job? If not, why not?

Isidora is currently with the Inquisition. Before that she was helping in a clinic in the Denerim alienage. She can’t do healing magic but she can do other heal-y things, so.

Why do you hate Turin?

If you gave Turin a spreadsheet with an infinite number of options of what to do next, he would invariably choose the worst possible thing to do, the thing that would hurt the most not only himself, but everyone else he has ever known. And then he would spend the rest of his life whinging about how unfair it is that everything bad always happens to him.

I have zero patience for people like that.

And no, “but he was cuuuuuursed the poor baby it wasn’t his fault” holds no sway with me. He made his own choices. Morgoth didn’t make them for him.

29: A book that makes you feel comforted?

the perks of being a wallflower by stephen chbosky. i am almost hesitant to say it, because of the hipster value the movie gave it, but i am so in love with it. i identify with patrick s o much: a loud and proud queer person doing whatever the fuck they want. when i first read it, i was in a place in my life where i was charlie, through and through. it is one of the only books i have read more than once.

thanks to sw3arw0lf, i am currently reading the secret history by donna tartt. i’m not anywhere near finished with it, but holy shit do i recommend it! my current url (pocrichardpapen --i write this bc im sure it’ll change) is derived from the book, actually. ((also, not only is richard not white, he is also not str8, cis, NT, or basically anything privileged. thats kinda the point of his narrative. hes a gatsby-carraway hybrid))
