Fool in the Rain, by Led Zeppelin.
The drums for this track are impossible. It’s like nailing “YYZ”. You have to be John Bonham in order to play this track and make it a groove. That’s it. It’s not Bonzo’s signature beat, but this one and “Achilles Last Stand” are generally called the Mount Everest for rock drummers.
John’s son, Jason, took 3 weeks to practice this song in order to play it live one time. Ask a drummer. It’s impossible.
*Excited Robert Plant voice* ✨John Henry Bonham✨ !
This cute guy who is a regular at the coffee shop I work at always talks to me about the music I'm playing. One time when I was playing Led Zeppelin, he goes
" oh man.. robert plants voice just.. just oozes sex, ya know?"
Me: *falls in love*
Uuhh yeah buddy I DO KNOW
What Makes John Bonham Such a Good Drummer?
Excellent #percussion #music theory breakdown of Led Zeppelin sound. Must watch for any musician, especially drummers and songwriters.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp* ~ Led Zeppelin
Live at Earl’s Court, 1975.
*The song title comes from a Welsh cottage called Bron Yr Aur, and the band misspelled it on the Led Zeppelin III sleeve. I think it is supposed to be pronounced "Brawn-Ar-Eyer", but I usually butcher it and say "Brawn-E-Err".*
