Its been a while since I've posted a public library graphic novel post. For today I have the graphic novel adaptation of Mary Shelley's Gothic novel Frankenstein.

The publisher is Classical Comics @classcomeducation who produces graphic novels and teaching resources to encourage reading and literacy in schools.

The art is stunning so far. The monster is drawn in shadow to further illustrate the dark nature of the source material. The text is somewhat abridged but comes straight from the original text of Shelley's novel. I've gotten to chapter 2 of the story. Look forward to the rest of the story.
