hello! it's me again >"< ! your writing is so amazing! Can i request how ceasar/dio react to their shy s/o taking care of them when they get injured from the battles?? >///<
Hi, beautiful!! Thanks for your patience! I hope you enjoy. @immieramsteinner
Caesar
-Caesar is going to be a little embarrassed at first. He has a great deal of pride, so when s/o remarks about how hurt he looks, you can bet he’s going to wink, puff out his chest a bit, and assure them that he’s “perfectly fantastico, tesoro! I’ve been through worse.”
-Aaand now he’s passed out on the floor.
-Once he wakes up and finds s/o wrapping his arm in a bandage and placing a bag of ice over his head, his cheeks become incredibly red.
-Due to their shy nature, s/o won’t really scold or laugh at him, but will give him a knowing and loving smile that tugs on Caesar’s heartstrings.
-Caesar’s learned to take care of himself early on in life. He’s also never had trouble getting anyone into his bed before, but having someone he loves quietly tend to his wounds is an intimacy that he is wholly unfamiliar with, almost uncomfortable with.
-This is also partly because Caesar is rather traditional, to a fault. He wants to be the one taking care of and protecting s/o at all times, no matter how unrealistic it may seem.
-But now he finds himself out of place as he watches s/o carefully work their healing magic on him. He might whisper, “Tesoro, you don’t have to…” to which he will be immediately shushed, which will make his brows raise in surprise.
-If s/o breaks out of their shyness in a serious and aggressive way like that, Caesar knows they mean business. Caesar Zeppeli can take a hint. For the most part.
-Gradually, Caesar begins to appreciate s/o’s healing help, as opposed to feeling guilty or weak for needing it.
-Eventually, he comes to enjoy it, the feeling of s/o’s hands tenderly attending to each sore muscle or cut on his body, the way s/o’s eyes acknowledge him in the most caring of ways.
-Dammit, he has the strongest urge to kiss them, to show them how much he loves and appreciates them when words fail him.
-Or he’ll crack flirtatious jokes, words dipped in honey in order to make s/o blush while they’re working by a particularly *delicate* part of his body.
-Either way, it’s a beautiful thing.
Dio (SDC)
-Dio, especially SDC Dio, is a different matter entirely.
-He has pride like Caesar, but it is elevated to a different level. OF COURSE he’s going to have someone around to tend to his wounds so he needn’t take the trouble.
-Dio prides himself in choosing a s/o who is willing (who wouldn’t be, really?) and talented at healing his perfect form. Not only does he find s/o’s shyness endearing for its malleability, he knows that they won’t be parading loudly about how badly Dio has been hurt or details of his injuries to those below him.
-Dio is a vampire, though, so he does have the ability to heal many injuries to a certain extent. S/o will more than likely become involved in simpler endeavors, like cleaning blood from his neck, soothing a headache, or helping him sleep.
-With s/o by his side, Dio feels positively indestructible.
-It might take some time before Dio sees s/o as more than an object for basic comfort, but he will warm up in his own way, due to the soothing effect s/o has on him and the intimacy that simple healing offers.
-S/o will find Dio to be quite protective and possessive, and often gets rewards.
-These rewards usually involve Dio allowing s/o to kiss him wherever they like, a smirk on his lips that’s borderline obscene.
-”You did such a wonderful job. Care to admire your work?”
