I am living the consequences which I have created for myself.
It’s 7:23 AM.
I am sitting on the rooftop of my parents’ house.
The rain is drizzling down on me and my laptop computer.
And I am letting that happen to my laptop computer - I guess I am calling for another trouble.
I spent the night tossing around in bed, in search for an answer to my bad fate, thinking why I am stranded and not being able to move any further. Luckily(Yes! I used the word “Luck”), I chose to come to the rooftop to take a breath of fresh air and continue with this contemplation.
My head feels mystified, with some overwhelming questions,
- “Why am I not lucky anymore?”,
- “Have I always had a luck talisman with me before?” & “Have I dropped it somewhere along the line?”
- “Am I a cruel person and getting licked by my own karma?” - even though I know I am not cruel inside.
and lastly,
- “Am I losing my brain cells that I can’t seem to identify where things are going wrong for me?”
However, I am somewhat aware that I am paying for my own actions. Whether it’s a good moment or a bad one. I am the one, who has got myself into that.
As I am sitting and listening to a podcast, “Luck” by Jonathan Fields (GoodLifeProject), a moment of realization begins. When I reached beyond the two-third of the 18:45 minutes long podcast, Jonathan talks about serendipity. A rush of inspiration circulates through my brain nerves.
Jonathan describes “Luck” as a formula. Take a good look at the image, below,
More often than not, I turn down a service/help offered by an acquaintance, as to feel credited alone for my hard work - and that’s when selfishness prevents me from reaching the next level I deserve, besides all my efforts. In other words, I lack openness to what people/surrounding may have to offer me.
A thought comes to my mind that we human beings need each other. Our individualities, when combined only, can get us through a journey towards success.
Suddenly, I discovered two things that were going unnoticed,
1- Expanding my perception about a sense of achievement, I could be a frontman, yet my success involves more individuals.
2- Changing my perspective towards having openness to the value people may bring, I can never climb a great height without taking steps that are within my reach first. Hence, right people are the steps I need in order to reach a goal.
Thanks for reading. I will continue to write more about this journey.. Stay tuned!

Simple truth: fast and busy are a choice. We choose to go fast and be busy because we think it’ll get us what we want. All too often, it doesn’t. Fast and busy makes life brittle. It makes us feel like every inch of space in life is locked in and there’s no room to move. Instead of unlocking productivity and potential, it throttles both. It deludes us into feeling like we’re getting more done faster, but in reality, we could get the same done in the same or less time with more grace by dialing it back, not forward. In the end, we’re left feeling dissatisfied and helpless to extract ourselves from the process. Except we’re not. It’s all an illusion.

Fear of judgment stifles our ability to embrace uncertainty and as part of that process delivers a serious blow to our willingness to create anything that hasn’t already been done and validated.

Excuse me while I have a big, emotional hippie moment...
This is an episode of The Good Life, a podcast that I listen to regularly. It's one of the best I've heard.
I went through a full range of emotions listening to this. I heard lots of jewels that were inspiring and thought-provoking. I loved every second of it. I will probably listen to it again and again. ❤️❤️❤️
"Shadow Work sounds so shady. Like there's this guy that comes up to you and he's like: Hey, you wanna do some work?"

I was cracking up as Bear was saying this and had to make a note and save it for endless rewinds.
When you have a deadline in sight, stick to your routines.
Dropping everything in a panic and pulling an all-nighter (or three) will make you anxious and cloud your focus.
Instead, when a deadline is approaching, maintain your social and exercise routines to ensure you stay as calm and focused as possible.
