“Wait so Billy actually asked you out.” Nancy squealed. “Yes I know.” You jumped up and down. “You know even though he is an asshole he has been the first guy that has actually been into me for real he made it clear the first time we met.” You said. “Anyway I need my lucky necklace for tomorrow” You said. “I think I left it in the basement.” You said as you walked towards the basement door. You opened it and quickly receded down the stairs to find El and Mike making out. “Y/N!” Mike yelled. “My lips are sealed.” You put your hands up. “Ah there it is.” You sighed in relief. “Your lucky necklace.” Mike questioned. “Yes my lucky necklace.” You scoffed. “Your going on a date again?” Mike asked. “Everytime she gets her lucky necklace it’s usually because she is going on a date.” Mike informed El. “Is it with Billy?” El asked. “Yes.” You said. “Even after he tried to kill Lucas and Steve.” Mike groaned. “Cut him some slack ok he is nicer when you get to know him.” You defended him. “I don't care.” Mike said. “He tried to hurt Lucas.” Mike repeated. “Ok bye kids don’t have too much fun.” You say walking up the stairs to avoid this conversation.
You went in your room looking through your closet to start picking out an outfit tomorrow. That's when you heard a knock on your window. It was Steve. You opened your window and Steve jumped. “You sure learned how to get the hang of it. You know, climbing on to knock.” You grinned. “Steve why are you here people are going to get the wrong idea.” You groaned. “Look Dustin really thinks I'm this humongous player, and I know a lot about girls but I've only been in love with one.” Steve admitted. “I don't think it matters who you have been in love with.” You say. “The real question is how many girls' hearts have you broken?” You say. “In other words how many girls have you had sex with and then never talked to them again?” You asked. “Well..” Steve paused. “Exactly.” You said. “Now just give Dustin the same advice as you did that one day.” You said. “Make sure he is not too desperate. That isn’t appealing to girls.” You informed.
“Now I need your help.” You say. Steve sat on your bed. “What is all this?” Steve asked. “So as I have told you before, me and whose name you told me not to mention again, are going on a date tomorrow.” You chuckle. “You could say his name, I don't care.” Steve said. “I know but this makes it sound so mysterious, and mysterious is hot.” You said. “Wait let me write that down.” Steve said. “Mysterious is hot.” Steve repeated pretending to write it down. You rolled your eyes. “Ok so here is outfit number one.” You point to one of your outfits on the bed. “It shows a good amount of cleavage, some leg, but still decent enough to wear it out and not cause problems.” You say. “Outfit two..” You began when suddenly a door opened. “Y/N Jonathon asked if I could..” Nancy paused when she saw Steve. “Hi Steve.” Nancy said. “Hi Nance.” Steve looked down. You walked out of the room into the hallway. “Why is Steve in there?” Nancy asked. “He is helping me choose an outfit.” you said. “Jonathon asked me to go somewhere with him but mom left me in charge to watch the baby. Can I leave you to do that?” Nancy asked. “Please Y/N” Nancy pleaded. “Ok sure” You groaned. “Thanks love you.” Nancy ran out the door. “Ok Steve I..” You noticed he wasn't there anymore poor Steve. He was really heartbroken.
The next morning went by slow. It was a big day for all of you. Mike going to the snowball, Nancy helping out at the snowball, and you ditching the snowball to go on a date with Billy. “You decided to start getting ready.” You put on makeup to your satisfaction. Then tried on the three different outfits multiple times. You decided on the first outfit and before you knew it was 6:00 and Billy should be here to pick you up. Suddenly you heard a door ringing and ran to the door and opened it. “Ready.” Billy smirked. He wasn’t dressed with a tuxedo; he insisted it be a casual date.
You got in his car and he drove to the restaurant. “So I asked and many recommended this restaurant.” Billy said. “We could be the first dash and diners.” Billy smirked. “Billy I could always pay if you don't have enough money” You offered. “Y/N I was just joking.” Billy frowned. “Ok Im sorry.” You said.
You walked into the restaurant and it was mostly older couples or families. “For two please” You told the barista and she sat you down. “This is so fancy.” You gasped. “I'm impressed Billy.” You smirked. “Is it too fancy for the Wheeler.” Billy jokes. “Yes most of my meals are home cooked.
“Would you guys like to start with drinks.” The waiter said. “I’ll have a beer.” Billy said. “I’ll take an Ice Tea” You said. “We don't have ice tea.” The waiter said. “Then a coke.” You said. “Allright.” The waiter jotted down our order and left. “It's ok if I have a beer right?” Billy asked. “It's fine only one because I can't drive.” You said.
Once the waiter came back, ordered your favorite and Billy ordered a burrito. Once the food was ready, you guys both sat in silence eating. “Billy, I'm having fun but I don’t want this to end.” You whined. Billy chuckled. “Who said it's going to end.” Billy smirked. “So what's next?” You smiled. “It's a surprise.” Billy said. So you guys left the restaurant and he drove you to an empty hillside. He took out a blanket from his trunk and laid it down. “Billy this is amazing.” You smile. “Oh I know.” He smirked. You hugged him. You both laid down and were wrapped in his arms. “Your beautiful Y/N” Billy said. “Oh I know.” You mimicked him. Billy chuckled. “That's my girl.” He pecks your lips. “How did you know I love the stars.” You asked Billy. “Doesn’t every girl?” Billy said. “Yes but do they own a telescope and know all the constellations.” You said, “I don't know.” Billy said. “Wait, don't tell me your one of those girls who believes in astrology” Billy scoffed. “If I was.” You sat up and crossed your arms. “My mom use to believe in astrology.” Billy sat up. “She would tell me about my sign.” Billy gulped. You hugged Billy. “You know what the stars are saying right now.” You smiled. “What?” Billy asked softly. “That we should do this.” You said as you grabbed his face and pulled him in for a kiss. “I like what the stars say.” Billy smirked as he gave in.
“Oh shit what time is it.” Billy suddenly stopped. You checked your watch. “It's 12:00” You said. “I have to pick up Max.” Billy jumped. You both quickly picked up the blanket and jumped in the car and Billy sped through the streets. When you got there you could see Nancy and Steve inside cleaning up and Mike, Will and Jonathon were inside as well, and wait was that Dustin? His hair looked different, like Steve, you chuckled a little. You couldn’t see Max. “Where is that little shit.” Billy growled. “I'm sure she is in there.” You said. “Do you want me to go check?” You offered. “No I will go.” Billy said as he roughly parked his car and turned it off. He got off and you followed.
“Billy.” Max said as she saw him walk in. “Hurry up say bye to your friends, I'm going to be outside smoking a cigarette.” Billy told Max as he walked outside. “Y/N how was your date?” Nancy asked. “It was fun.” You smiled. “Really with him.” Steve questioned. “Yes he is different when he is on a date.” You said. “How was the dance.” You asked. “Boring serving punches to ungrateful teenagers is not fun.” Nancy scoffed. “Mike has a girlfriend now, permanent.” Nancy laughed. “He's growing up.” You chuckled as you looked at Mike and El. “They are perfect for eachother.” Nancy said. “Yeah I'm going to say bye to Billy mind if I get a ride with you?” You asked Nancy. “No.” Nancy said.
You walked out the gym and saw Billy smoking a cigarette. “Billy, thank you for tonight it was fun.” You said. “I had fun too babe.” Billy smiled. “No get some rest tomorrow Im picking you up.” Billy said. “Ok” You smiled. “I'm going to get a ride with Nancy.” You informed him. “Ok, see you tomorrow.” Billy said. “Dont miss me too much.” You smiled. “Oh baby you know I will.” Billy smirked you gave him a kiss. “Ew gross.” Max joked. You blushed a litte.
