Love Lost
I miss the Josandra ship. They deserved more.
Hint: Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy makes me cry
Somewhere, maybe in another world or universe, there was a girl and a boy sitting on a hill. The world was at peace, evil kings aside and magic in its place. Everyone on the side of good prevailed. It had taken work and hardship and yet here they were.
Somewhere, in another world or universe, Jonas could look over Paelsia and he could see the wine vineyards where he used to work and the woods where he and his merry band of rebels had hid from those searching for them. And in that universe Lysandra was by his side with her bow looped around her shoulder because there was no world in which she didn’t have it.
“I miss you,” Lys said quietly.
“I miss you too,” Jonas admitted.
This was where he had grown up and where it had all started. It seemed like such a long time ago. So many things had changed.
“Lys…” Jonas started, looking over at where she was sitting.
“I know,” Lys said. When she looked over, Jonas was reminded of why he had fallen in love with her in the first place. Her curly wild hair surrounded her head like a mane and her soft brown eyes could look at him and see every fault but still love him nonetheless.
“I still see you everywhere I go,” Jonas continued anyway. “Lucia… she named her child after you.”
“Lucia is the one that killed me,” Lys said simply.
“No, that was Kyan. Lucia… she’s different. She has good intentions but goes about them the wrong way.”
“Just like you,” Lys joked but it didn’t sound very humorous.
“Lys, I’ll always love you but-”
“Don’t say that,” Lys interrupted. “Don’t… don’t say you’ll always love me. That’s unfair to her.”
“But-”
“I’m dead, Jonas. I don’t expect you to always love me. I never expected it in the first place… it’s not who you are, Jonas.”
“It could have been who I am,” Jonas argued. “You made me that kind of person.”
“And now you need to be that kind of person for her. She doesn’t deserve you pining after some other girl. Not like what you did with me.”
Jonas turned away and stared out across the valley. Lys was right. Of course Lys was right, she always had been smarter than he had been. “It would be so much easier if you were alive.”
“It was good though,” Lys said, smiling sadly for the first time. “While it lasted.”
“Yeah, it was,” Jonas agreed.
Lys took his hand, her darker skin contrasting slightly with his own tan, and when Jonas looked up she was still smiling. “It’s okay, Jonas. Go live your life. You deserve to be happy.”
“You deserved to be happy too.”
“I was happy. You made me happy. Now it’s time for you to be.”
She placed a light kiss on his cheek and then was gone. It took a second of Jonas staring out across Paelsia before he was able to stand. Somewhere in the city there was a girl who cared for him and a baby named after his lost love. Although he wouldn’t have believed it at first, or almost anywhere in the middle, they made him happy.
When Jonas woke up, he found he had fallen asleep in baby Lyssa’s room, now in the Paelsian palace, and Lucia was watching him carefully.
“Lysandra?” She asked and Jonas nodded.
After all, they both knew the effects of someone they loved that had died. Maybe one day they would overcome it.
The Pussycats is easily one of the most yuriful episodes of Riverdale, we got:
• Melody dating Nancy (glad they’re both lady lovers in every universe)
• MelVal as roommates
• The Pussycats reuniting and finding their way back to each other (polyamory could save them)
• Tabronica subplot
• Alexandra and Josie in the same room
• Cheryl delivering Toni’s baby
Bonus fun things:
• Dr. Curdle Jr. being a Pussycats fan
• Sweet Pea/Josie comeback
• Veronica, Tabitha, and Alexandra singing Little Shop Of Horrors together
Anyone who says season 5 sucks is simply wrong
Hey! Not sure if u answered this before but what is your opinion on Jonas and Lucia?
Do I ship them? Sure. I’m 100% not against them. I think that Lucia gives Jonas moments of reason just like he gives her, and also they both relate to the loss of a loved one.
Is it the best ship? No, I honestly prefer Jonas and Lys. While it can be argued that Lys’ death helped develop Jonas’ character, I think she could have developed it more if she was ALIVE. Plus I really liked their rebel dynamic and they were cute together. And I’ve mentioned this before but Lucia doesn’t really need a relationship? She’s made mistakes and she can give them time before leaping in, especially after having a child.
It’s one of those things that would have the same, if not better effect, if it were platonic. Not every single man and woman have to be paired together in order to help the other grow or to relate. It seems like they were kind of tossed together because their previous love interests were dead or taken.

A Christmas Spirit
If it’s not noticeable by now, I’m placing all this years Christmas fics in the FK universe. Meaning all have involved drinking and are generally not the happiest if not a little hopeful. Sorry. Last sad-ish one hopefully…

“Do you ever wonder what happens to a person when they die?” Felix asked to the empty air in front of him.
He and Jonas lay on the deck of their ship headed back to save Mytica. The air was crisp and cool but the bottle of Palesian wine between them kept them warm. Here on the ocean the sky was brighter that Felix had ever seen it and the stars shined.
“Cheerful,” Jonas snorted. “I’m feeling the festivity.”
Though really, who could blame Felix? As an assassin he wouldn’t be surprised if he had killed more men than anyone else on the ship combined. The question had haunted him for years. A ghost or spirit, perhaps, would be most worrying considering he could name quite a few people who might have evil vendettas against him beyond the dead.
However, if there were spirits, it meant Lys might not be trapped in the everafter. She could be here, watching them both, looking down on them with that signature roll of her eyes.
Idiots, she would have scoffed but she would have smiled as well.
“There was a legend I heard while in Auranos…” Jonas said thoughtfully. “That those who die become stars.”
It was a much better idea than Felix would have come up with. Fanciful and optimistic. It was hardly something he could picture himself believing.
“You think so?” he asked.
Jonas was silent a minute. “I’d like to believe so… Lys-”
Whatever he was going to say was swallowed up by the mood. A much too somber mood for two men drunk on Christmas night.
“I loved her,” Jonas decided to say.
Felix couldn’t argue that fact. Jonas had loved her… eventually. She had loved him. Felix could say so many things about her death, about Jonas, but it wouldn’t make a difference. But being petty, although didn’t make him feel better, made Jonas feel worse and Felix wasn’t noble enough to spare his feelings.
“So did I,” he said. “But she decided to love a fool like you.”
“Yeah…” Jonas released a large breath as if he’d been holding it since long before Felix had ever come into his life.
“A merry Christmas, isn’t it?” he said sarcastically after a minute.
“I’ve had worse,” Felix couldn’t help but comment and to his surprise Jonas laughed.
“I bet you have.”
They let conversation fade after that as they both looked up at the numerous stars and the darkness ahead of them. Felix wondered if it was really possible that Lys was one of those twinkling stars above- so far away but lighting their way. He wondered if Jonas was thinking the same.
What a sad turn of fate that they would both fall for the same girl only for her to end up dead. Fate had never been on Felix’s side.
Merry Christmas, he thought towards the sky. Towards Lys. We won’t forget you.
For a second Felix could have sworn he heard a reply.

Fixed Up, Part 3
Josandra modern-day AU in which I combine two prompts received from anon sources. 1) for Jonas and Lysandra to meet in a doctor’s office both with sports injuries, and 2) Jonas and Lysandra get stuck somewhere and have to spend the night together.
(Rated PG)
In case you missed them: Part 1, Part 2.
It had been two months and Jonas was back at the doctor’s office to wait while Lys got her cast removed. He’d taken her to all her team’s soccer games and all her doctor appointments, since her mom worked so much. Now, Jonas had gotten tickets to see another of her favorite bands, and told her mom what he had planned. But he hadn’t told Lys; he wanted to surprise her.
Two days after that first concert they’d gone out to lunch and Jonas held her hand while they talked afterward. Two dates later, she kissed him outside her house--really kissed him--at which they heard her mom squeal from inside. Lys hid her face in embarrassment, and Jonas couldn’t stop laughing.

The doctor didn’t take long. He had Jonas rotate his ankle and stand on it, then jump and walk around the room before declaring him totally fine. As soon as he was free, Jonas hurried back to the waiting room, but Lysandra wasn’t there. He pulled out his phone. Cleo had texted him again. He ignored it and went to Lys’s messages.
Hey, I’m out. Ankle’s fine. How’s your leg?
She didn’t reply right away, which meant she was probably talking to the doctor. Jonas took a seat to wait, then checked Cleo’s message.
Hey, I can’t make it tonight. Magnus got us tickets to a movie without asking me :( Sorry
