Straczynski really was the best and the worst Spider-Man writer ever, huh? Like, chances are, you ask a comic Spider-Man fan to list their least favorite stories and 8/10 most of them will have been by JMS, or they’ll mention a concept they don’t like that was brought in by him, like mysticism and Morlun, even though he handled it much better than the writers who made them hate the concepts... And that’s the thing! If you ask them who their favorite writer was, or even who they think the best writer/s was/were, JMS will probably be mentioned! The range!
