I've had a truly eye opening few days regarding my current state of physical health. I've created a path that I NEED to take if I a) want to be healthy and b) want to reach my goals. This may involve taking social media breaks and most likely not posting the constant shred and pump photos. It's what I must do and I have my support system 100% behind me. So here's to feeding my faith and starving my fears.....and to deadlifts. Woop woop. #trusttheprocess #changehurtssomuch #cleverstrength #joshua19 #thisisreallife
*long post is long* I’ve been sick. Pretty darn sick of you ask me. I’m still grinding, working, and ‘mom-life-ing it’ with extra medication and more rest when I can. So, these singles at 135# have me motivated because they are going up smooth and my actual set up is coming together nicely. However, this video also disgusts me. How do I expect myself to gain strength when I’m not doing the most important part by fueling my body correctly. Damn 22 years of disordered eating and I still fight everyday. I’m just really frustrated. And maybe it’s the lack of sleep or decongestants talking but I will always be honest on here. And I’m honestly so sick of when my desire to look a certain way takes precedence over my desire to be strong and healthy. However- what I see here is not what I want to be. But it’s so natural for me. And I hate it. I’ve come a long way. Really, I have. Days when I wished God would take me away have been replaced with days of enjoying and loving life. But still the struggle. So what now. “Just eat?” Haha. Right, that’ll cure her. Well, it’s a good point of reference for me. To see myself with such strength potential under conditions of weakness…. This is why I’m going to be better. #joshua19 #thisisreallife #girlswholift #cleverstrength #recovery #longpost
Remember why you started. Own the life you're living. Embrace and love it. Then hustle harder than you think you need. #thisisreallife #ithinkimgrowing #cleverstrength #foodisfuel #joshua19 #gainingweightiscool #flagnorfail

Embracing Strength and Courage: Lessons from Joshua 1:9
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." – Joshua 1:9
This verse from the book of Joshua is one of the most empowering messages of hope, faith, and determination in the Bible. It serves as a reminder that we are never alone, even in our most daunting challenges. Here's a breakdown of its lessons and how you can apply them in your life:
1. Strength and Courage Are Commands, Not Options
God directly commands Joshua to "be strong and courageous." This isn’t a suggestion—it’s a directive.
Application: Strength isn’t about having no fears or doubts; it’s about trusting God’s plan despite them. In moments of uncertainty, remind yourself of this divine command to rise above fear.
2. Do Not Be Afraid or Discouraged
Fear and discouragement are natural human emotions, but God asks us to move beyond them.
Reflection: Think about the moments when fear held you back. This verse reassures us that we can overcome fear through faith.
Action: Replace discouraging thoughts with affirmations from scripture. For example, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
3. God’s Presence Is Constant
The most reassuring part of this verse is the promise that God will be with us wherever we go.
Key Insight: God’s presence doesn’t depend on our circumstances. Whether you’re in a time of joy or hardship, He is there.
Practical Step: Start your day by acknowledging God’s presence. A simple prayer like, “Lord, guide me today,” can align your mindset with this promise.
