I loved this show too!
: D
i've been having the most inexplicable feeling of something i needed to do today, but i can't really put my finger on it at all. was it something i owe someone(and no, not the draw yourself asks or josie or the paranorman fanart?hmmmm)?
josieweirdo replied to your post: dang it’s not my birthday day anymore, looks like...
Argh, I forgot to wish you a happy birthday yesterday D: Even started looking into what birthday present to give you. Fail.
ah, sorry for replying so late L: it's okay!It happens.
Okay so i am responding to these now that i have a bit of time

And people produce Flash animation because the use of Flash shaves off production time and thereby costs less money. The less money you spend, the better the chance to break even.
Yes, all of that is true! ....but see, there have already been good flash cartoons made. No matter if they were popular or really not well-known, there have been tv cartoons made that looked good as well. So I don't know why they keep insisting on the same ugly look in their every cartoon. The storyboards look so good, and then the final ..... i just don't understand how. Maybe they're just really upfront about keeping their 'house style' or maybe they really just....don't know how to break out of their self-cast mold. This way we'll have the same cartoons from them for at least another decade :( Maybe I'm exaggerating, but the worst part I guess is, the cartoon i'd been talking about? It has potential. And they're not using it. Just cliche after cliche, no character-development, and gleamingly obvious solutions. And i don't want to watch it anymore, because apparently, my standards have become too high or something.

No one should expect you to like estonian animation because it’s estonian. But they should expect you to know what’s currently running and what’s being produced by estonians. It’s fine to like any kind of animation or a specifics country’s :)
yeah but I think it would have helped if i had named more films I guess? Like more than just my friends and more directors i've seen(but alas, could not remember at the time) and if only i could have named my favourite art-styles/eras! eh, that's what i would have sorta said if i had answered these before the exams.

You don’t need to have a specific opinion or like it. But be familiar with what is produced all the same.
Yes.
