I'm really fascinated by the idea of the jouli ship. I honesty don't know how far I would take it, but boy howdy am I willing to give it a shot.

As for personal preference, I live for aro/ace women in media. One of my greatest weaknesses right there. And that is how I headcanon Kidman. So as far as the canon goes, I don't want any romantic interests coming from Kidman. She is an island of baggage that she needs to sort through for her own sake. But by no means does that affect what fandom output I chose to whole heartedly enjoy. I am a canon whore just as much as I am shipping TRASH.

Rambling is mostly for my own amusement, tags are for my own organization, so read more it is.

Kidman is a rather complicated study. And given her probable lack of reference for anything romantic, she may honestly mistake guilt and genuine concern for romance. These are her partners. And despite her greatest efforts, she cares. She cares so much. Ultimately, I don't have the answers. But regardless, I want to see these detectives interacting. I want to see Kidman looking at Joseph and Sebastian's relationship knowing how much they care about the other, seeing how truly good they are for each other. Understanding completely that they are each other's number one. I want Kidman looking at Joseph and having no idea what to say or what to do. So she guesses. And tries. Because she may be clueless but for the first time in her life she wants to help someone in spite of Möbius. She sees Joseph hurting and she wants to help him. Because she cares.

Of course, her idea of helping would be to keep him as far from Möbius as possible. Which ultimately, may mean as far from her as possible. She's an agent first and foremost. Confused detective second.

its just a lot to consider! I'm curious as hell to see what the fandom puts out there. We have all this added personality and history for Kidman, and that alone has me bursting with excitement. She deserves so much and then some. She is such an incredible character and I am so ready to see her explored, as an individual, and in the context of her relationships with both Joseph and Sebastian.
