Ok I'm not exactly sure what kind of people you are looking for your new Stanford journal 4 project. I'm a big newbie to tumblr so I don't exactly know what's going on given I'm from the olden days. But I can kind of draw! Do you need someone to draw something? I'd like to get involved in something fandom related, even though like I said I don't really understand the conventions of what's going on around tumblr being a newcomer
i’m looking for any artist or writer who’s into “gravity falls”, is experienced enough to feel comfortable sharing their work, and does not use ai.
if the poll ends with enough creators telling me they’re willing, i’ll start a discord channel where i share a couple ideas at a time.
from there, please feel free to do whatever you want! you can ignore an idea if you don’t like it, add suggestions to improve it/take it in a new direction, or just do the same idea someone else is doing. it truly does not matter. i’m just giving you all something to work with, and maybe occasionally pitching in with a drabble or sketch of my own <3
‼️my goal here is not to give the public “the book alex hirsch failed to give us”, or anything along those lines. i adore the mysterious nature of ford’s portal years! i’m only sharing one interpretation of how i think they went down, and people are fully allowed to interpret it differently.‼️

Buddy of mine died today. He was out in the mountains, on a delivery, and it was so goddamn foggy, I guess he lost sight of the trail. He called me, asking for help, but then the line went dead. I saw the voidout from here. Nearly blinded me. Guess he wandered into BT territory.
There's not many of us porters left these days. Not many you could trust to get the job done, anyway. Folks quitting or dying, going MULE— attrition's a bitch. If we're to keep on, we're gonna need better equipment... and someone else who can track BTs. I can still manage sometimes, but my power's getting weaker. I can feel it. Just wish I knew what to do, cause at this rate, I'm fucked. We all are.

I have a gripe with the concept of "opposite day." If it was truly "opposite day" everything would technically be the same.
Take, for example, the opposite day concept we all used as kids where you have to say to opposite of everything.
Say you want to say the sentence:
"The dog is in the house."
If you said the opposite of every word in that sentence, (that being, every word that has an opposite,) you would get something along the lines of:
"The dog isn't out of the house."
Which is still the same, because the dog is inside, meaning it is not outside.
(If you think "cat" is the opposite of dog, it really isn't. There isn't really an "opposite" word for dog, but regardless, "the cat isn't out of the house," would also serve as true, because there was no cat to begin with.)
With the same concept, lets do another one, this one, more simple,
"The sky is blue."
Using opposite day logic, this would translate to either:
"The sky isn't orange." Which is true! (Unless you live in Gravity Falls during August of 2012, but then again you would still have to speak in "opposite speak," so that would turn out as "the sky isn't blue." Which is also true!)
Or, "The ground/grass/ocean isn't orange." And in most cases, they are not.
It really depends on how you word it though.
(If you think of the "opposite clothes" or "literal opposite day" hypotheticals, this also may not apply, its mainly just with the speaking one.)
Hey Gravity falls fandom, was going through my pics and found this one from 2018. I remember being so excited to have spotted it lol, have we figured out what this is?
I kinda checked of the fandom out for a bit and I never got a real answer! Love y'all, let me know!
