I wrote this a while back, but I stumbled upon it again and wanted to share.
This features Journalist!Draco, rambling about politics, journalism and writing; there is also second chances, coming out, and the title is based on the song "Watch What Happens" from Newsies!
Basically, one of the most self-indulgent things I've ever written. Here's an excerpt.
In a 37 to 13 vote, the Wizengamot has passed a bill that appears altruistic on the surface but in reality is a lackluster attempt to appease marginalized communities into pliant submission so the ruling class can continue to quietly exploit them, all the more tainted by a clusterfuck of completely unrelated amendments designed to indirectly fill the political war chests of the bill’s writers.
Draco snorted. Would “clusterfuck” be approved by Wizarding Reuters’s style guide? Probably not, he supposed; even the Executive Editor of the Daily Prophet was subject to the same rules of journalism as every other reporter, but his first draft was between him and his keyboard. Thank Merlin for the backspace key.
He cast a quick Tempus. He had to finish the draft in a couple of hours and get it to a Line Editor right away; this kind of story was particularly time-sensitive. He looked over his notes again, taken dutifully by the Quick Quotes Quill, as well as another notepad of thoughts written by his own hand. Nerves and a speck of doubt rose in his chest at the thought that, in just a few hours, his words would be available to read for the entire Wizarding World, forever inked in the newspaper as a public record of the day’s events.

1. Turn - One good turn always deserves another. Apparently. (In which Harry gets a Glimpse of what his life would have been like if he had of done one thing different - and realises he needs to make some big changes. Featuring a perfect Draco Malfoy, hilarious Blaise Zabini, and a seven year old Guide who loves Spinach cake and the colour red.)
2. The More Loving One - He knows what it looks like, two men, living and working together, but they are doing absolutely fine as they are, thank you very much. However, there’s no smoke without fire, as the boys are about to discover.
3. Running On Air - Draco Malfoy has been missing for three years. Harry is assigned the cold case and finds himself slowly falling in love with the memories he collects.(This fic has the most beautifully descriptive writing. It’s my #1 favourite.)
4. All Life Is Yours To Miss - Professor Malfoy’s world is contained, controlled, and as solitary as he can make it, but when an act of petty revenge goes horribly awry, he and his trusty six-legged friend are thrown into Hogwarts life at the deep end and must learn to live, love and let go.
5. Humbug (A Christmas Tale) - Draco has been taking his casual relationship with Harry for granted. Visits from four key ghosts the night before Christmas just might shake up his priorities in life.

Five years after the war, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy live very separate lives. Harry makes furniture and volunteers at an orphanage. Draco runs a record shop and writes articles for The Prophet. They both try to avoid public attention, but for very different reasons. Draco suffers from anxiety disorder and fears rejection, even when he knows he's changed for the better. Harry still has PTSD from the War, but he mostly just wants some privacy, and to live a life being someone more than the Boy Who Lived. When the two meet again for the time after the trial, things start to change. Draco is beginning to redeem himself and come out of his shell, and Harry is realizing his purpose again without the War to control him. The two start to work together for a common cause, making sacrifices for what they believe in, but also starting something new... together.
