My running goals this year are simple especially as I'm recovering from a major surgery (hysterectomy) and have yet to get my hormone levels right post surgery. I simply want to be healthy and to enjoy running. Of course it would be great to get faster or go farther but my main aim is simply to love the freedom and the mental/physical health benefits of running. This was a tough one, I still have days at 3 months post hysterectomy where I'm super tired, today was one of them. My hip flexor was niggling , I couldn't find hard sand the wind was against me half the way and oh my the rocky bits and mounds of seaweed. But oh my gosh it was glorious and I loved every minute, called it a day at 4 miles as I don't want to aggravate my leg. Jasper was of course living his best life.
