Tw abuse // Could I maybe rq some different Penguins (2004, TNBA and Returns maybe??) comforting their s/o who has rlly a bad PTSD attack from an abusive home / childhood? I’ve been getting bad panic attacks recently jfjdjdjjdjs thank you,,,

i don't know enough about returns to write for him, so i went with a personal favourite, hope you don't mind. and i'm sorry to hear you have to go through that darl, hope this helps a little bit! 

The Batman!Penguin comforting his s/o hcs:

he's very quick to see something's wrong, even before you tell him, so expect him to immediately come to your side and inquire about what's bothering you

he knows he takes comfort in your touch, so he opts to return that favour to you - if you're not overwhelmed by his affections, he will gladly hug you tight to himself, smooch your forhead a little as he gives you the option to talk to him about it. he really wants to know what's going on, but if you're not ready to tell him everything yet, he will understand

he'll let you talk, cry, do whatever it is that you need to do to let those emotions out as he whispers sweet nothings to you, tells you that he's here with you now and you're safe with him

he'll do everything in his power to make you smile and laugh again, do if he sees you're calming down, he'll make stupid, corny jokes and even tickle you a little as he cuddles you close just to see you light up again and take your mind off the bad times. everything's fine now, focus on that, focus on him. he's there, he won't leave you and won't ever hurt you

he'll realise something's wrong, but he does not know to what extent. you have to tell him what you're going through and once he sees that you're really hurting, he'll take you somewhere private to sit through that

he'll sit by your side, hold your hand to remind you that he's right there and he wouldn't let anyone ever hurt you again. when you talk about what causes the attacks, he gets mad on your behalf, but he tries to be as calm as possible for you since he knows he's your only source of comfort at the moment

also, everything that you take comfort in, he has at the ready. any foods, music, a favourite fucking blanket - whatever it is, just ask and he'll deliver

he opts for distracting you, making you focus on other things, making sure you calm down your breathing. he'll talk with you, caress your hands to make you focus on that sensation, maybe take you to play with his beloved penguins. he knows they help you out whenever you're stressed

Batman Unlimited!Penguin comforting his s/o hcs:

the second he sees you acting a little off, he's by your and asking if there's something wrong. once you tell him you're having a panic attack, this man will also have a panic attack about your panic attack but he realises that fussing and overwhelming you Does Not Help, so he tries to keep calm and get you somewhere private and safe, where you feel at home

he rubs your hands, arms, shoulders, encourages you to talk to him, let him help. he listens very carefully, lets you just spit it all out, tucking you under his arm and lightly squeezing your hand the more you talk so you can lean on him, feel his support, know that he's there for you

he'll comfort you to the best of his abilities, kissing your temple, petting your hair lightly as he talks you down. he's surprisingly good at that, he knows exactly what to say to comfort and reassure you, make you feel safe and loved

he'll stay with you for the whole day, doing whatever you'd like. he can take you for a walk if you need fresh air, he can sit with you on the bed and watch tv if you don't have the strength to go out, he'll get you some good food, talk with you, joke, relax. whatever it is that you want. he's been craving a day off with you anyways, both of you need it

I didn’t know where to send this but hear me out: Touch starved Mr. Freeze slowly coming to terms with the loss of his wife and he absolutely melts (no pun intended) under another persons touch (if they’re bundled up enough for sub-zero temperatures lol) no matter how gentle it is he just,, remembers what it’s like to be loved hejshshsbshs,,,

You've never seen him so... soft. Not even when he talked to Nora. Victor grew cold in every sense. He was cold towards the world, towards you, he didn't care about anything but his goal. But now, he lost that, too. Everything was taken away from him. He was stripped of everything he had, but that also included the responsibility. Despite the guilt, despite his shattered heart, Victor was... relieved. And he hated to admit it. He hated to admit it he was tired of fighting when it was clear he won't ever win. He hated to admit he was tired of fighting for Nora. Amidst that fight, he lost himself, completely, utterly.

But there was a little part of him, of who he used to be, that you brought back. There was a part of him that came alive under your touch.

Victor hated you and loved you all at once. It felt like he was betraying Nora every time you two touched, against all reason. It felt like he didn't deserve any form of affection whatsoever since he so clearly failed in saving his wife. It felt... wrong. And yet right at the same time. Comforting. Relieving. Soft. You were the only source of comfort. The only thing actually keeping him sane. You made him feel. You made him... not want to lose you too.  You made him care.

And every time he seeked out your touch, his feelings grew stronger. Every time he involuntarily melted into your hands, the ice in his heart was melting too. Because of the warmth you brought. The warmth you made him feel. The warmth that would kill him someday.
