this has sort of changed over the years. it used to be pushiness. i'm very up front about how i am total ass at ooc chitchat. i've had people take that personally and legitimately wanted me to apologize for not talking to them. buuut, lately, i think the thing that turns me off from a partner the most.. the whole purity culture and thinking they have the right to dictate what i write or who i write it with. there's something so inherently icky about that to me. not only do i unfollow for it, i'll block a bitch for it. i can't stomach someone trying to shove their morality down my throat in or out of roleplay.

✂ a fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting ?

there was a time when this would have unanimously been the marvel fandom. the first time i wrote bucky was back in 2015/16 and i couldn't get a foot in the door to save my life. i was also very insecure about how i wrote him then, too, though. now ? i can't say i feel like any fandom is any more or less open than another. i'm a confident writer now, however. i know some of them come with a whole shit ton of caveats and it always depends on the muse you bring to the party. all my kudos to people writing ocs specifically in a fandom cause some of the rules i've read about how those are received ? woof.

✖ how has tumblr rp changed since you started ?

i started writing on tunglr back in 2012 sooo... what's an easy way to say completely ? it used to be plain ass font, single spaced, 100x100 icons and that was that. usually in an rpg, too. and there's something i sort of miss about the basic nature of that style of rp. where the focus was always the writing. don't get me wrong, i love some pretty graphics and aesthetics can make your world go round if you're into them. but people are way too hung up on making things fancy these days. you do you, that's my opinion, but try to remember what brought you to the table to begin with. and making someone feel lesser because they aren't obsessed with graphics and formatting ? not cute behavior.

🔥 my hot take about the roleplaying community

lmao so this is maybe going to annoy some people but taking your time is all well and good (I have no problem if you want or need to take a long time for replies! This is a hobby and i'm certainly not about to dictate how you should do something you find fun) HOWEVER you cannot then be put out if i don't want to continue a thread that's been dormant for like, 6 months or more. I've seen people reblogging and replying to stuff a year or more old and it's just like. bruh. I see zero point in trying to continue something that old, because by then we'll both have forgotten what tf is going on. Just start fresh.

📒 three blogs i couldn't live without

@unlore and @idnull are my top two, and then coming in close in third is maybe @tewwor and their other blogs. Each of these writers has such unique concepts, and I can bounce off them so easily. Writing is absolutely seamless. If you're not following my fave goobers, you're doing yourself a disservice.

with that in mind , his words dwindle , arguments dismay , choosing to give up already . heads butt , people clash . he's done it before therefore , opts for a simpler , much less complicated choice . simply brushes her off , turns away . ❝ if you don't like the way i play , y'can just get rid of me now . ❞ after all , this is only temporary . why not get ahead of the end before it even starts ? the hole can be filled by someone else , he figures .

1 = SURE! it's not something that bothers me too much, but like? any female oc of mine who isn't missy / richard doesn't get a ton of attention, and judith (while cliche sounding i admit) is so fun to write, and has so many different verses that make her so versatile, including ghost (the band) and a general cult member verse which could apply to any. her christian rock verse is super fun. antoinette has such a cool concept! i do get some of my oc's don't have bios up /yet/ but i'd be more than happy to talk anyone's ear off about them, truly. like duke, ugh he's so !!! 🥲 also harlan is a big breath of fresh air to write. idk it just doesn't get to me too much, usually. i'd rather someone be interested in the character they're writing with.
