she made a trip to the record store,a first stop of a few errands she had to run. well,she didn't need more records she wanted them. she was on the hunt for cannibal corpse,any album she didn't already own by them. she felt the brush against her arm and her heart thudded against her chest. a spark. uncommon for her,she hardly ever felt that with anyone unless she knew them already.

❝ hey,no worries. i barely eat as it is so i get it. ❞she smiled,as friendly as she could muster running off one can of monster and a few cigarettes. she didn't think to eat before she left so she understood his pain. hunger wasn't a joke to fuck around with.

"cannibal corpse?" a small laugh, an inside joke with himself (an actual CANNIBAL CORPSE). "no, no, they're so good. i had one of their albums on cd when i was a teen." he had a lot of cds as a teen but now he's switched to vinyl. he moved slightly, brushing against her again in the tiny record store.

this time he felt it, that spark. his eyes got wide and he just stared at her for a long moment. what was that? a thick swallow and he grabbed at a a vinyl between them. "found it! do you have this one?"

"i can't quite read it. i left my glasses back at the apartment." not because his eyes were too glazed over from hunger. of course not.
