its been a hot minute but i would like to remind everyone that i am not out of my jwcc phase. i never will be. just because im not actively posting it on tumblr doesnt mean its gone <3

anyway, therizinosaurus fun fact because i love him despite the fact i cant say his name 

when therizinosaurus fossils were first found people thought it was a giant turtle because we only found parts and not a whole skeleton

which like,,,makes sense i mean:

and like for a while tm people thought they were long neck creatures that ooo scary but we kept finding fossils and stuff and eventually put together a lot more based on relatives and fossils and ~science~

and like now its generally accepted they were much more sloth-like which

no im not over it jwcc fandom and im gonan talk about it again. again, the ship being canon itself isnt whats bothering me, and tbh i could skip over most of the parts that made me uncomfortable in teh show. the thing thats bothering me is the adult fans who clearly forgot what its like to be a teenager. yeah im gonna talk about the age gap because the tag keeeps saying “its not that weird! and its not illegal!” as tho legality is where ur moral compass should be but w/e 

 but yeah, when youre 13 or 15, those two years dont seem too big at first but then you’re talking about what homework you have and you realize that both of you are at completely different education points, and one of you has your drivers permit and the other still sits in the back seat and one of you is looking at colleges and already trying to decide a minor and has a part time job and the other one hasn’t even thought about it for more than 2 minutes and isnt even eligible to work yet just---

a 13 and 15 year old are much more different than you think lmao and like tbh if i was closer to 30, i probably wouldnt have thought too much into it, but im 22 and i was the 13 yr old that dated a 15-going-on-sixteen year old and 

that age gap might seem small, and it is really small when youre both adults. but as kids, those life stages are so so vastly different i dont even know how to explain it to you
