T_T I couldn't post yesterday T_T

Anyway, since today's #ThrowbackThursday...(And because I missed yesterday's opportunity to post)

Here's an article I wrote for the school publication :D (Although this is not published as it is... I couldn't interview the people mentioned(my seniors) due to our different schedules :/)

Perpetualites participates in Pinoy Henyo High

Pinoy Henyo, as almost every creature knows, is a game where two people play as a pair, each sitting on different chairs, both with an electronic head gear. Then one person will guess the word on his head gear, then the pair who guesses the word with the shortest time will go to the final round.Pinoy Henyo High, however, is quite different for five reasons: first, because the pair should be high school students; second, one member will sit on a normal pinoy henyo chair while the other sits on a pinoy henyo high tech chair which rocks all directions randomly; third, both members will have a word to guess alternatively, and needs to guess as many words as they can within 3 minutes wherein there's a limit to passing and guessing, each counted as one word, which is seven words; fourth, they also added a dance competition to add up a little spice to it; Last but not the least, there should be one teacher to serve as their coach.

On 24th of November 2012 , the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta participated in Pinoy Henyo High. The pair picked was Derly Ann Castanas and Vincent Donie M. Pletado, both coming from IV-Wisdom. And their coach was Mr. Joemar L. Furigay, English teacher and the adviser of III-Diamond. As for the dance competition, many students have joined the group for it and they were taught by Mr. Roland N.Lao, MAPEH teacher and the advisor of Perlas ng Silangan dance troupe. The game began as Derly was sitting on the normal pinoy henyo chair and Donie sitting on the pinoy henyo high tech chair -gentlemanly as Ryan Agoncillo commented. While their words were: "Carlos P. Garcia, pomelo, wallet, monkey, small intestine and palda" They got 3 words in total.

While everyone was hoping to win, that victory was not achieved.Immaculate Heart of Mary College won the main game while Jose Rizal University won the dance competition. While everyone has different comments, opinions, reactions and complaints, we should just let it off and make it as an important experience to learn from -especially for the chosen pair and the dancers as they had a very large break because of it- and to treasure as well.

Everyone's got a chance for victory, right? And who knows if there's still another time? Even if it's not the exact same competition, who knows if our victory shall be placed there? And who knows whether it's smaller or bigger than this competition?
