Rereading The Fellowship of the Ring again and idk how far I'll make it this time before my attention span wanes, but it's funny how the opening chapter reads a little bit like Pride and Prejudice except that instead of a single man in possession of a good fortune being in want of a wife, it's an heir.

Hot take maybe, but while S1 Shawn/James is very pretty and sharp angles, there's just something about the softer, cuddlier version in later seasons that makes my heart pitter pat a bit faster.
