honestly, it feels like when it comes to the transfem ralsei theory, more people are focused on the gender aspect rather than the implication of character growth. it's not just more trans rep (although im always happy to see more!! get more trans now /j), it's narratively about breaking the confines of one's role. that's what Deltarune is about!!

it's about individuality and identity, and an aspect of that is breaking what you thought to be the limits of that identity. time after time we see that in how ralsei remains in their "role", especially after chapter 5! there was another anon that mentioned flowery's dialogue as a part of this, and i think they have a point.

people are focusing too much on the "princess" comments, and many who don't only take the message of ignoring the rules to do what you want as something that applies only to this instance of ralsei's gender, much despite the wider scope of it's meaning.

GUYS. THE POINT OF BREAKING THE RULES ISN'T TO BE TRANS. THE POINT OF BEING TRANS IS TO BREAK THE RULES IN THE NARRATIVE CONTEXT.
