college advising is literally so shitty

i'm so sorry but the way that my advising and my friends advising is horrendous. and I KNOW that my parents are going to be calling me today probably sometime soon asking, "how was your advising appt?" and i'll say, i have no fucking idea because it didn't fucking happen. when I went to the j-school to have what i thought would be my enrollment appointment, my advisor pops out and goes, Hey ----! just so you know I have no availability at this time for drop in appointments, but I have time later around 1 to 4 which are my regular drop in hours! and I said, what do you mean, i'm here for my advising appt? and she said well we had that weeks ago! and I said yea im here to enroll in my classes (as I pull up my enrollment time) and she says she has to go!

And THEN! she says make sure to have your things in your shopping cart so like the good little bitch i am i make sure that what i need is in my shopping cart! and then i cannot change my shopping cart so the schedule i planned (before I knew what i was doing and had kid brain and no actual sense of what i actually wanted from my schedule so now everything in my shopping cart is the complete opposite of what i actually want.

anyways im really fucking pissed cuz i missed a class for no reason because i thought that there was an important meeting that i was going to miss and then none of that was true and i want to scream and cry and bash my computer into the advising departments windows because they are so shit at explaining how to do any of this!

I saw @allegiancebway last night and was a mess.
