the sun has risen upon the town where your future husband lives, and with the late night travels accompanied with quite the bumpy road, you’re not sure if you look presentable right now. with a small yawn, you peeked through the curtain of the carriage’s window to see the hustle and bustle of the viscount’s land that he governs.

the people radiates joy through the smile and loud noises from the market; the sight should’ve brought a bit of relieves regarding the viscount yet your frow never left your face.

that is until you saw a man who awfully reminds you of joshua in the alleyway. your mermen friend that you’ve left behind at the palace. that is what you believe. “stop.” you ordered the coachmen hastily before you exits the carriage in a rush without waiting him to help you get off.

upon closer look, the man’s clothes looks a bit tattered and his light brown locks unkempt. even his eyes are dulled, unlike your friend’s shiny ones. you wondered why he reminds you of him so badly.

“are you okay? i saw you had some difficulties getting up from my carriage, do you need some help?” you questioned with concern as you offered your hand for him to reach.
