My OC, Angelo!
His personality his been sliiightly changed (for plot reasons) since I wrote his desc…
I want his personality to offset Mavee’s wild hatred for social structures. Angelo is now very reserved and rule-following because just living on his own and working a job feels enough like a risk and a challenge to his severe anxiety. His dad died gruesomely when he was six, and not only was he there to watch, but he was bitten himself by the werewolf responsible for his dad’s death. Angelo has since lived his life with a condition that makes him just as dangerous as his father’s (accidental) murderer, and his mom, also having been a witness, fears for his safety and the safety of people around him as he grows up.
His mom was already a very high-strung person, but having to manage a young boy who was seriously dangerous made her go overboard with protection and restrictions. Angelo held a lot of resentment towards her for how she responded to it all, and, thanks to the courage of his best friend Nichole (also on my profile), he was able to gather the strength to leave the stressful environment to live on his own, even though it was the most difficult decision he’d ever made.
Since then, he tries to balance work, his dreams of owning a restaurant despite his condition, socializing, self care and the reoccurring transformation into a werewolf all on his own. He’s my most traumatized and stressed character, eventually though he’s able to grow and learn that he can lean on others and his life doesn’t have to be defined by what happened when he was young.
