Such an incredible team and group of artists behind this whole thing. @arcaneshow is really rad if you haven’t seen any of it (it was the #1 show in the world on Netflix 🤙🏼)We wrote this song to a specific scene they sent us. Salem (my daughter) was only 2 weeks old at the time, so it was quite the whiplash going from fuzz guitars and blown out drums to conversations quieter than a whisper & lullabies. ALSO - wild one here, but our AC (in the middle of summer) died and we were stuck melting finishing this thing. @lynngvnn flew back to LA and I texted her about what we should call this, she said ‘Snakes’. A few hours later our AC repair guy came into the tracking room to tell me a snake had climbed into our AC and fried the entire motherboard. Long story short, Lynn destroyed the studio with her witchcraft. @joshlovell engineered, @miyavi_ishihara had some riffs we wrote around and completely flamed his parts, and @adam_hawkins_ mixed it #mothermarykellystudios”
