Also like. Okay. The thing is with Judit is that I think people are missing the nuance like you see a lot of people being like "you shouldn't ship Judit with Jean because you're shoehorning her into a role where she's caretaking an asshole man and managing his emotions" and blah blah emotional labor stop making her Team Mom or whatever.
But like you're fooling yourself if you don't think that's literally exactly what's happening in game. Like that's. Yeah. That is what is happening to Judit. She literally does inhabit a role where she's peacekeeping and managing her inconsiderate and unstable male coworkers (superiors to whom she reports directly, no less!) Presumably because she is the only woman on the unit. She talks about having to "parent" her husband, whom she also implies to have stepped out on her and started a second family.
I think if she was fucking Jean that would ABSOLUTELY be reflected in that relationship. And I'm not saying that's what people are doing, or that they're doing it well (I don't read a lot of fanfic so how would I know), but I think it's a little more complicated than it gets made out to be.
