HIPP 7-Day Juice Challenge
(со страницы https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV8CWghMycg)
Juicing Day 3:
SOOOOO todays Juice fast consisted of:
x1 Cucumber x1 Bag of Spinach x1 half of Brocoli x1 Pear x1 Apple x4 Carrots x1 quatre of a Lemon x1 teaspoon of Tumeric x1 spoon of Nutmeg And it was ... OK
It was OK. I am using a cold press and if you do not clean it immediately it will smell preeeeety foul! My colleagues have also “err’ed” on a number of occasions regarding the colour of my green juice. Over the weekend just passed i came down with a stinky cold, I could have sworn a lung could have been coughed up however these last two days of juicing 3 times a day has completely subsided my symptoms which is amazing! Probably has something to do with the amount of vitamins I am taking in! but I can not complain. Other than that I have been pretty darnn hungry and pizza seems like a really good option but alas I have willpower and I shall use iit!!!
Hello everyone!
Just want to let everyone know about All About Juicing's 21 Day Juice Challenge. It's already Day 6 of the challenge I believe, but you can start Day 1 today or tomorrow or whenever if you want haha. Vanessa (owner of All About Juicing) has really awesome juice recipes and she posts them daily on Facebook. This isn't a juice fast, but more of incorporating juices in your diet everyday along with healthy meals.
If you've watched the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead with Joe Cross (I highly recommend that you guys watch this if you haven't), then you'll know of the benefits juicing brings to your health. Here are some of the success stories that juicing has brought to people:
Reboot with Joe: Success Stories
It's really inspiring reading them, and it makes me wanna go on a reboot too, just to see how good it'll feel.
December. Last Month, New Beginning.
Hey y'all,
So it's officially the last month of 2014 & this year has been a darn rollercoaster from beginning to, well, November. I'm claiming December as my new beginning... Why wait for the New Year to make a change, right? I have gained so much clarity within the past few weeks when it comes to my journey of life. If you follow me, you know I went to CA this summer and I don't know if it was my getting back in touch with my inner "spirit-child" or just spending quality time with my sister & getting to learn from her example but I know for sure where I am isn't where I'm going to stay.
My sister & I had a long conversation during Thanksgiving and during which I told her my dreams and aspirations, because she's the only person I can speak my mind to and not have to explain myself or face judgmental blank stares. She reassured me that no matter who [or] what comes along my purpose is MY purpose, not for anyone else but me. Though others may not understand it & may even speak out against it, it's mine. God given & God driven. I felt so complete listening and spilling my guts to her because it gave me confirmation that I'm definitely following my heart, something I've been struggling with lately. To get in touch with yourself & seek God in everything you do, is such a freeing and magical experience, and to have someone else know that feeling is so helpful in keeping my head above water. Especially in times when I wonder what I'm doing any of this for, to know that I am purposed for greatness. But this is getting way too deep for what this post was actually about! So just stay tuned for more on this topic...Juicing, Let's discuss juicing!!
As December begins I have decided to take part in a yoga challenge for the month. I follow a super cool yogi on Insta, well I follow several actually, but one of them posted a challenge for December and I want to do it. The only thing I'm concerned about is that I haven't DONE YOGA IN OVER A YEAR so y'know, I'm stiff. (haha) However I'm trying to realign my mind and spirit to a "yes" mindset because when you open yourself to say yes more often better things happen in you & around you. So, as a part of my personal choice to take on this challenge full speed ahead, I will simultaneously take on a juice challenge. I will link the post for the challenge of the month.
Thanks so much for sticking with me on this ridiculously long post!
XOxo
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead JUICE CHALLENGE: Day 1
Hello my Wonderful Turds~ Today I start my 10 day detox!
Day 1:
450mL of juice x3
Water unlimited
So this is how it's gonna go for approx the next 3-4 days. Apperentlyit's in these days where your body does a lot of the initial detoxing, so I am preared to feel like a total sack a shit for a while. Also, going to the bathroom a bit more than regularly is expected. It's important to stay hydrated as well as taking any medication that you recieved from your doctor (remember that you should ALWAYS first go to your doctor and get a check up to see if you can do the detox, as well as how your medication is effected). I myself have to take Vitamin D, so I remember to do that!
"A blog about a not so average college girl"
Check it out, I have a couple new posts up about my smoothie/juice diet detox thing. Check it out if you're thinking about doing it, I'd be glad to answer questions and if you keep up with the posts you'll definitely get some real reviews and info about this challenge
Day 1 - Juicing Challenge
This is NOT a diet. This is the beginning of a new life style. For years I've been out of shape....and when I say out of shape I mean I couldn't run 5 minutes without feeling out of breath and cramping up. To this day, I still can't run.
Now, I know you can't get into shape by juicing alone, you need to physically work out - which I will once school comes to an end. My sister and I have both agreed to start going to the gym once things settle down. However, to become fit - it needs to start from the inside out. What you put in your mouth will heavily impact what you can do.
This 7 day challenge consists of me juicing instead of physically eating foods. Now, I know what you are thinking.....sounds unhealthy. But if you research it further you will see there are many health benefits and thousands of success stories. Im not saying I wont eat at all for the next 7 days because I LOVE FOOD but I will work each day to consume at least 2-3 juices a day.Click on the link below to learn more before you judge! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpF9zL5BGUI To see my progress I first had to check my measurements at the start of the challenge. I'll keep you posted on how I'm feeling throughout the challenge, what Ive seen change, how often I juice etc. When the 7 days are done, I will decide whether or not I will continue to juice daily depending on my results. Measurements Waist = 86 cm Bust = 91 cm Butt = 104 cm Thighs = 54 cm Arms =29 cm Weight = 148 lbs Wish me luck!
