section 1/1

Qs:

1. what’s considered a legal adult in this universe? age to drink (if alchohol exists)? age to drive?

2. school system? how does that work? is there like the elementary, middle, high separation? college?

and then he had a whole bunch of questions about the voting system:

3. how frequent are these elections? are they frequent enough that impeachment isn’t needed?

4. what happens if someone who doesn’t even wanna be president is voted? would that even happen? is there like an application system for canidates or can anyone be voted in?

5. is every person’s vote equal or is it like in the US where different states gets different amounts of votes based on population?

6. is there a state system here? like is the world split down into different countries/providences/etc?

7. the whole world is under one ruler, that seems a bit much? is there like a checks and balance system with other branches?

8. has there ever been attempts to rebel against the political system?

9. how did the whole world come to be under one ruler? i feel like there have to had been some other governments in the past

10. jesus. did- did he exist? what religions are there here?

A’s:

1. legal adult = 18, age to drink = 21, able to drive = 16, no need to change those standards

2. the school system should be the same as normal, but to prevent stress, it kinda works like mine where there’s no homework unless you can’t finish something during the class period, THEN you have to take it home (aka spare the children🙏)

3. like i said, the elections happen every 2 months, which was voted on by the people when they were still developing the government, so everyone agreed on it and there hasn’t been much debate over that

4. if the person voted to be president doesn’t wanna take the job, then the option goes to the person in 2nd place and so on. think of the L.O.R.E. voting system in that aspect like the “vote for the next host” thing in BFDIA 22.

5. every person’s vote counts as one vote, it’s not by place

6. i wouldn’t say there’s states or countries, but rather areas??? idk how to describe them- like it’s the thing of “oh, you’re from the city” or “oh, you’re from the forest” n shit like that—still kinda figuring that out (my gosh i needa give these places names)

7. the whole world under one ruler thing *has* canonically been questioned before, but the people are pretty confident in their government system and have faith that they’ve been doing a good job (which they have). like the US government system, there are people that not only assist, but discuss laws with the ruler, and those people also communicate with the mayors/leaders of each “area” (i’m calling them areas cuz idk what else to call them). interestingly enough, being the wisest entity in the forest, Mr. Hootingman is currently in the position of being the forest’s leader (and Juicy may soon be passed on that title after season 1 of the webisodes ends if he wants to, cuz he’s plenty eligible), but he doesn’t seem to be really aware of that or acknowledge it much, so he just sees himself as a regular citizen/inhabitant even though he has so much more power than he believes himself to possess

8. there hasn’t really been much rebellion at all since there wouldn’t be a point (if you consider what i just said)🤷‍♀️

9. it came to one ruler because the people liked both the idea of a monarchy *and* a democracy, so decided to basically fuse them together into whatever the fuck this is 🤷‍♀️

10. the main religion in L.O.R.E. is The Four Entities, as they call them, aka the four entities who created the world n shit with their magic, blah blah blah (i have yet to fully develop this on paper but it looks really cool in my head trust), but it’s also not uncommon to see random entities themselves being worshipped, their existence either religions or cults (which the government allows as long as they’re not being too shady, doing evil, or harming anyone)

how long has this government system existed? long enough to have seen many wars?

LAL (aka long-ass answer):

the history of L.O.R.E.’s universe and the creation of it is very very different then ours, but can also be compared to some actual human history in our universe

the government is like if you smooshed both the english monarchy and the american government together with a few different tweaks and called it a day

i’d say perhaps there might have been a lot of disputes a few months after the universe was created where it got to a point where they were like “ok we need to organize y’all and make sure there isn’t any trouble” so the people came together and began to form ideas of a system they could work with

think of their development basically the same as in world history, but in L.O.R.E., it’s kinda different

like for example, at one point, it wouldn’t just be england with royal shit, the entire WORLD would be like medieval england during the same time when it occurred in our world

it’s very interesting and i still have so much to develop about L.O.R.E.’s universe that i’m probably never gonna address or touch on in ANY of L.O.R.E.’s media (probably excluding the books cuz i might add more world info in there)

the human-object wars (or object rights wars) began because the humans started to be a little unsettled at the objects all of a sudden (because objects during creation weren’t just beings made with sentience, they began as a species from random objects from the early world coming to life from the magic surrounding the world produced by the entities that made it, so the humans, even after THOUSANDS OF YEARS, still hadn’t gotten over their concern that lifeless objects around the world would suddenly gain sentience, even though the transition had already been locked in that objects can only be brought to life by magic or made through reproduction…which i still have yet to figure out :,]).

so basically think of the object rights movements as the equivalent of the women’s rights and black people’s rights movements since discrimination for gender and skin tone haven’t really ever been a huge problem in the L.O.R.E. universe to the point that something like that would happen besides the object-human wars

out of curiosity, where does it stand if someone, let’s say a youtuber (or whatever the equivalent is here), posts a video basically saying to their younger fanbase “hey guys, let’s vote [insert stupid guy] here for shits n giggles”

i assume there’s some legal stuff against that?

A:

good question

getting people to vote for someone with no reason other than lols could also end them up in jail unless it’s satire/a parody or unintentional

like you couldn’t just say “hey guys vote for markiplier” without providing valid points about why markiplier would be a good ruler

that person would also have to (as stated previously,) have experience in the legal field

Q:

how does time/aging work?

A:

basically the same as time here in the real world (our calendar) but instead of like 24 timezones or whateva there’s only like, 5 or smth

aging is an interesting thing to think about since a lot of the population is pretty much immortal (cuz entities have their magic to keep them alive, and sometimes objects and humans get magic some other way…most commonly NOT by harming others)*

*adding to that, reincarnation is also an option, but if deemed worthy, if a being dies, their soul can be recovered by magic

Q:

you say most commonly not by harming others. is there a villain or group that does it malicously? rouge mafia? and if most of them are immortal does overpopulation ever happen?

A:

overpopulation? nah

some die at some point, usually the evil are those kept dead, as (MOST) anyone could be easily revived with magic

the rouge mafia hunts entities because they both hate them and want their magic, so yes

them and groups like them are the guys that take magic by harming folks

thankfully the rouge mafia hasn’t been able to get to any entities yet, so far, despite stupidly enough having one on their team (so basically crefaine is their equivalent of wobbafett/meowth😭🙏)

do evil entities exist or are they all at least good/neutral?

A:

why of course they do ;]

thingy is a very odd and irregular one, as they could be categorized as evil, but their intent isn’t really to cause harm, but just chaos alone

L.O.R.E. fun fact:

in the humanized L.O.R.E. au I have (where PMT, Juicy, etc. are objecthumans), Mr. and Mrs. Hootingman were the ones who gave him that outfit because Juicy reminds them of Thaddeus (their dead son) and it’s similar to what he used to wear (although his vest had slightly different colors)

rip thaddeus p. hootingman you would’ve loved apple juice💔 (more on that later)

section 7

past lore about the mechanical minds

so basically there was this fish entity guy who was really into the thought of building robots and was the first to make mechanical minds

he made trials to train them, which if they failed at, they would get destroyed/taken apart to make new machines. this cycle of machine abuse made him very unpopular, and eventually the machines rebelled, and began to kill, eventually turning on every other species/subspecies that wasn’t their own. (explains how Thaddeus died to a mechanical mind that looked very similar to PMT) even other objects that weren’t mechanical (organic objects) were unsafe, as mechanical minds began to see everyone else as inferior to them.

this frightened the entire world.

the madness finally ended after their creator was killed and then his son (eventual creator of PMT) took over, as a better leader to the facility, and retrained those bloodthirsty machines (unforcefully, unlike his predecessor) so that they were at peace again.

then he continued making machines like his father, but this time, built them to help people, focusing less on the same physical labor training that his father enforced, but instead, psychological training, teaching them like they were regular people, until they *became* regular people.

learning paths could differ by machine, but their main purpose was to assist others and learn more for themselves.

now, thanks to his new approach on machines, most of the world doesn’t fear mechanical minds anymore.

section 8

L.O.R.E. fun fact:

leviathan (thingy, or in this case, lydia’s brother,) and thaddeus are juicy’s past lives

the reincarnation went

leviathan —> thaddeus —> juicy

reincarnation is only possible in the L.O.R.E. universe when a being hasn’t lived for very long and didn’t get to experience life to the fullest, so instead of leaving that soul to be recoverable by magic, it gets reincarnated into a new being. it may not always stay the same species, like how you can see it went from human to entity to object.

(eventually,) juicy can no longer reincarnate and is the final being because the four entities (from afar, of course) deemed him as so because his journeys were so great and he has so much compassion for life.

how in the world is he the reincarnation of thaddeus when the only reason he gained sentience in the first place was from a spare drop of the sludge thingy formed from?

well, during the process of reincarnation, souls may float around sometimes, looking for quite literally anything to be their next life. (they are not conscious nor do they get to choose, it’s more like the entities are thinking of what to make their next life) so, both thaddeus and leviathan’s souls as well as the drop of sludge made juicy sentient.

that’s why he has a pure heart and a personality instead of being a raging object.

remember that juicy often has visions, which also means that he can tap into himself spiritually, as only the wise have that skill, and he became wise because of mr. hootingman.

juicy’s dreams are usually either visions or flashbacks, and a lot of the flashbacks he gets are actually leviathan’s memories, which oddly he sees as his and remembers instead of thaddeus’ memories for some reason, which is also quite odd since thaddeus was the most recent reincarnation before juicy

the knowledge of juicy being the reincarnation of thaddeus would mess mr. hootingman up so bad if he ever knew because juicy already reminds him of thaddeus enough where he sees juicy as like his son, and that means that him hallucinating thaddeus over juicy (which he often does) would actually be him seeing right through his spirit looking at his most recent past life, and it would probably kill his entire perception he built of seeing juicy as his own person and instead he would just see him as thaddeus

section 9

i finally figured out a valid reason why juicy clings onto pmt so much :DD

it’s not just because he like, super loves him and sees him as a place of comfort, but also the fact that because of all his chronic nightmares, he gets absolutely terrible sleep which makes him fatigued, which means he can easily fall asleep in/on anything he deems comfortable.

though pmt is quite literally metal, juicy somehow sees him as the comfiest thing ever and cannot get any peaceful rest without him.

pmt is also his escape from the reality that he is stuck with (aka that thingy’s after his life source and may destroy the world if he fucks shit up), so he often clings onto him when he strongly feels different emotions/moods. he holds on to him not just when he’s tired, but when he feels lonely, sad, scared, happy to be with him/lovey-dovey, stressed, in pain, desperate, and pretty much anything else

pmt is his happy place, his comfort zone, his shelter. one that he loves so much that he’ll do anything to keep safe because he feels protected and happy when near it.
