The first day after making the white rice, the leftovers become fried rice. After that, it becomes porridge. This congee/juk has scallion, egg, mushroom, sesame seed & oil, and soy sauce….I might toss in a bit of gochujang since the porridge needs so much salt to taste good lol

Today is Dak Juk (Korean Chicken and Rice Porridge) yes I'm aware this is more of a winter food but uh too late for that
