Alice In Wonderland (remake) (movie) - AUDITIONS 

PLOT

Facing an imminent arranged marriage to a soon-to-be English Lord, the spirited but troubled nineteen-year-old, Alice Kingsleigh, spots an unusually familiar rabbit scampering through the palatial estate's fragrant gardens. Could the well-groomed bunny be the same creature from her strange and insistent childhood dreams? The answer lies at the bottom of a deep and dark burrow--the mystical entrance to the wondrous world of Wonderland--where peculiar beings congregate around a never-ending tea party; a tyrannical queen uses every means possible to keep the throne she has usurped, and an unfulfilled prophecy awaits a dauntless champion. Is Alice, indeed, the ghastly Jabberwocky's fair-haired nemesis?

Live-Action Characters:

Alice Kingsleigh -  She is a curious and imaginative young woman, who cannot conform to the values of the society in which she lives.

Mad Hatter/Tarrent Hightopp -  He is a hat maker that has been poisoned by mercury, hence his orange hair. He is part of the resistance to bring down the Red Queen's command of Wonderland and thus end her bloody rule.

The Red Queen/Iracebeth of Crims -  She is the tyrannical queen of Wonderland and possesses a bloodthirsty personality, commonly sentencing people and animals to be beheaded for the most ordinary of situations. She maintains a difficult relationship with her younger sister, The White Queen

The White Queen/ Mirana of Marmoreal, - She is based on the chess piece of the same name, and The Red Queen’s younger sister. 

Knave of Hearts -  The secondary antagonist and the Red Queen’s right-hand-man

The Tweedle Boys/Tweedle Dumb & Tweedle Dee - Twins (Played by one actor) two rotund boys who constantly bicker and everything makes them nervous. 

Hamish Ascot -  He is an unimaginative and snobbish Lord who once tried to marry Alice Kingsleigh 

Margaret Kingsleigh - The older sister of Alice Kingsleigh 

Lowell Manchester - Margaret Kingsleigh’s cheating husband 

Fiona & Faith Chattaway - Two sisters who are supposedly friends with Alice but enjoy teasing her and others.

Voice Characters: 

Absolem -  Absolem is a caterpillar that appears in both the real world and Wonderland however, he doesn't speak in the real world

Chessure/The Cheshire cat -  He is a cheshire cat with evaporating and shapeshifting skills, a sarcastic and slightly dark personality, and a stealthy attitude.

Nivins McTwisp/The White Rabbit - The white rabbit who leads Alice into wonderland when she decides to follow him. He also has tea with Hatter and Mallymkum. 

Bayard - A dog captured by The Red Queen and threatened into help track down Alice 

Mallymkum - A feisty mouse with a sword who has tea with Hatter and the white rabbit 

Thackery Earwicket - A delirious and constantly nerve-wracked, older rabbit who has tea with The Hatter (etc) 

Minor Voice Characters: 

Frog Servants - They serve the Red Queen 

Tall Flowers - Very opinionated and turn their nose up at Alice after her arrival, not believing it’s her.

Movie "Songbird" Auditions: Open Roles

PLOT

By 2024, the COVID-19 virus has mutated into COVID-23 and the world is in its fourth pandemic year. In the United States, people are required to take temperature checks on their cell phones while those infected with COVID-23 are taken from their homes against their will and forced into quarantine camps, also known as "Q-Zones" or concentration camps, where some fight back against the brutal restrictions. In these camps, the infected are left to die or forcibly get better.

Nico Price, a motorbike courier with immunity, due to the fact he was infected with the virus, is in a virtual relationship with Sara Garcia, a young artist living with her grandmother Lita whose lockdown prohibits them from physical contact. Nico works for Lester, who specializes in delivering packages to wealthy individuals. One of their biggest clients is the Griffins, Piper and William, whose daughter Emma has an auto-immune disorder. William is a former record executive having an affair with May, a singer who makes a living online selling covers of classic songs. May develops a bond with Michael Dozer, a disabled war veteran who works for Lester as a drone operator to keep track of their couriers.

One night, Lita begins to show symptoms of COVID-23 while the sanitation department, led by Emmett Harland, is forcing Sara's neighbor Alice out of her apartment after getting infected. Harland warns Sara that their apartment building has seen a rise in infections. Sara informs Nico about Lita's condition, leading Nico to spend the night by Sara's apartment door. In the morning, Sara passes her temperature check, but Lita fails hers. Nico promises to keep Sara from being taken.

Nico Price - An immune bike courier who delivers parcels around town

Sara Garcia - Nico's girlfriend who isn't immune so remains in isolation with her elderly grandmother, keeping her relationship going over face time

Lester - Nico's boss who runs his business from isolation. His couriers are tracked around town

Emmett Harland - Head of the LA sensitization department

May - a struggling singer/songwriter who posts online and keeps up her following through social media

Michael Dozer - A wheelchair bound drone expert who helps Lester keep track his couriers

Piper Griffin - A rich wife who runs an illegal company from isolation where she forges immunity wristbands and sells them

William Griffin - Piper's husband in on the business but goes astray and sneaks out for various reasons

Alice - Sara's ne8ghbour who gets infected and tracked down by the sensitization department
