1) Girls Nights! Theres tons of them. Between Max and Avery or Savannah and Gigi. Savannah, Gigi, and Lyra. Gigi and Max. Avery and Libby. Avery, Libby, and Max. Libby and Alisa. Eve and Gigi. Or all of them together! They are never short on girls for girls nights.
2) Avery finds it very easy to talk to Lyra, so during one their hang outs she just spilled the beans on every single thing that happened from Book 1 to Book 3.
3) TEN TOES BEHIND EACH OTHER AT ALL TIMES —— STANDING ON BUSINESS 24/7
4) If one of the boys does something, every single one of them is on his ass. If Lyra and Jameson get into an argument and he said some shit, Avery gives him the silent treatment in solidarity and he better not even think about so much as looking at the others.
5) They all have a group chat because of Max and Gigi. Between the two of them, they can get just about every girl in that book in that group chat.
6) Max will text her 2am thoughts to that group chat at 2am. And Gigi will actually responds. The nonstop notifications has Savannah removing herself from the group chat before she goes to bed every night only to get added back at like 3am.
7) Acacia mother hens Lyra and Lyra’s mom does the same for Savannah and Gigi.
8) Between all of them they can lowkey accomplish a lot by themselves. They have the Hawthorne Heiress, female version of Grayson but better, Gigi Grayson (need I say more), a fixer, and the literal Queen of Hearts (Lyra). Not to mention Libby with the snacks and Max with the moral support. They are stacked when it comes to different skills.
9) Libby and Alisa began getting along peacefully sometime during Libby's pregnancy. Alisa helped her out a lot when Nash couldn't be there. Which wasn't a lot of the time, but when it did happen she was there.
10) Avery loves to spoil Max and Libby. She'll buy them expensive stuff randomly as a way of showing love. Max has like 8 birkins because of it.
11) Lyra hates British people. Both ironically and unironically. Because of this, Savannah of course talks to her about Rohan if she's being annoying and Savannah wants her to go away.
12) Max tries to convince Lyra to transfer to her college, and when that doesnt work she tries to convince Gigi and Savannah to apply to her college.
13) Gigi and Savannah apply to college at the same university as Lyra. Gigi plans to actually attend if she gets in, but Savannah is keeping it as a backup.
14) Max convinces the group chat to pull trending couples pranks on their boys then tell her how it went. So like the Tinder Prank Trend and all that other stuff.
15) Gigi loves making tiktoks and Savannah tends to be an unwilling participant in all of them. If Gigi posts a tiktok, there is a 95% chance Savannah will be in it.
16) Avery and Lyra act like lesbians when it comes to each other.
17) During karaoke nights, drunk Lyra is always trying to convince a sober Savannah to sing Wicked songs with her. Specifically 'What Is This Feeling?' A lot of the time she is successful.
18) Lyra forgets all her PR training when on live television, and if any of the girls are up there with her. Alisa better start praying because they will match her energy.
19) Avery lets Max get away with everything and anything. She does not care as long as Max is involved.
20) Gigi uses the same password for everything so Savannah doesnt have much to memorize, Savannah has different passwords for everything but Gigi memorized all of them.
21) Gigi and Savannah fight over the remote. No matter the setting or age. One thing that never changes is those two are always fighting over who gets to choose what to watch.
22) Gigi somehow convinced all of them to do a heist with her. As you can imagine, it didn't end well and Grayson had to come bail them out… Of jail.
23) Savannah ragebaits Grayson, and Gigi is quick to jump on and support her in her endeavors.
24) There have been more than one instance of drunk social media posting and yelling from rooftops. It tends to go viral.
25) Strip poker is always on the table. It’s one of Max’s favorite games. Gigi prefers to play uno though.
26) Alisa gets forcibly dragged along into anything and everything. She acts like a voice of reason.
27) That logic doesnt apply if she has 10 shots in her.
28) They all have a Spotify playlist together. And they’ll just add songs to it. Alisa will use the playlist whenever she’s driving around.
29) Lyra sometimes invites the Graysons to join her family roadtrips and Gigi ALWAYS takes her up on that offer.
30) Lyra’s brother’s best friend is Savannah though. He absolutely loves her and finds her so cool.
31) Avery, Savannah, Gigi, and Libby were in awe at Lyra’s parents both being healthy individuals.
32) Keith always sends the girls back to where they’re staying with leftovers, and Lyra’s mother is a hugger so they always get them motherly hugs.
33) Gigi joins Max in all her random hobby choices.
34) Xander introduced Gigi to Max, and they ended up texting and sending each other more tiktoks then they do him.
35) Max and Lyra will have debreif sessions about all the shit that happened in college that week over facetime with the other girls. Those debriefs make Gigi want to be in college sooner. Meanwhile, Libby is a bit worried about the wellbeing of her kids due to all the tea Max and Lyra share.
36) Avery went with Lyra the first time she went home after The Grandest Games instead of Grayson in order to help with breaking the news more easily as the main gamemaster. It did not work. Keith and Lyra’s mom still crashed out over her getting a ticket, going to some random island in the middle of nowhere, and playing the game WITHOUT telling them.
37) Max kicks Jameson out of Avery’s room some nights so they can spend all night talking.
38) Gigi saw that happen once and tried to do that to Savannah when Rohan stayed with her, but her room door was locked.
39) Alisa will sometimes come over to Hawthorne house late at night past working hours, and simply send a text to Libby saying ‘Baking Time’.
40) Libby just senses Alisa coming and is already ready for her without having to see the text. To which Alisa talks to her about Knox.
41) Of course this wouldn’t be complete without Avery walking in on it, and finding out Alisa has a thing with Knox. To which she recruits Max, Lyra, Gigi, and Savannah (who gets dragged along by Gigi even though she was pretending not to see the text) to jump Knox-
I’m just kidding, she only gives him the “If You Hurt Her, We Hurt You” speech. Because Avery doesn’t play about Alisa.
42) Gigi sometimes asks Avery to play online games with her like chess, and she loses 90% of the time.
43) They have another group chat just to compare how many guesses it took for them to solve that day’s wordle. So far, the person with the most is Savannah who managed to guess the word on the second try 5 times. With a close second being Avery who guessed the word on the second try 3 times. It usually takes Libby till her last guess and she is not proud of it. (This is me.)
44) Red Carpets fear them. The amount of aura and facecard they have together. Especially the GG2 girls. (Ppg vibes?)
45) Lyra always reposts edits of them together. Specifically edits of her, Savannah, and Gigi all laughing in interviews at an inside joke or at Grayson and Rohan. But also the ones where they’re all serving face.
46) Whenever one of them gets a death threat, attacked in public, etc. the other girls are there to comfort. They bring ice cream and binge watch movies.
47) Lyra always gets down for her girls. She'll fight anyone. She's always ready to fight anyone. Hands are always ready to throw down.
48) Lyra "Well at least I looked hot losing" Kane 🤝 Savannah "I looked hot winning" Grayson, both going on runs together whenever they're in the same area.
49) Max likes and reposts Lyra thirst trap edits. No reason, just because she has free will and she’s using it for the right reasons.
50) Avery goes to Alisa for boy advice and Alisa couldn't be more done. In fact I imagine she constantly asked Alisa for advice about Jameson throughout the main series and Alisa has never wanted to quit her job more. And it only got worse when Max and Lyra came into the picture. Because then she was being asked by 3 people about stuff she doesn't want to know the answer to about the boys she used to babysit.
“Hey, Happy.” He spoke, closing the door behind him.
“Hi Knox.” Gigi attempted a half smile. She sat, legs crossed, on the floor, her back against the wall. He looked down at her, then looked at the wall, then back down again, seemingly making a decision.
He sighed heavily and pressed his back against the wall, lowering himself down so they were both sitting on the floor, legs crossed. They sat in silence there, Gigi staring at the floor in front of her, Knox glancing at her every few seconds, brows creased in concern.
“Hey Knox?”
“Yeah Kid?”
“What does being in love feel like?” A pause.
That was not what Knox had been expecting. Was he even qualified for this? Had he ever actually been in—
Well.
Yeah.
He had.
"Love sucks." Gigi looked up at him for the first time this entire conversation.
“Love sucks,” Knox repeated, leaning his head back against the wall. “It makes you an idiot.”
"Not like you needed help with that." Gigi remarked, Knox shot her a mock glare, she smiled at him.
“You asked.” His mouth twitched slightly, but it faded fast. “One minute you’re fine, then suddenly some person walks into your life and now everything they do matters. If they’re upset, you’re upset. They're stressed, you're stressed. If they leave, it feels like someone ripped the floor out from under you.”
Gigi was quiet for a second. “That sounds awful.”
“It is.”
“But people still, well, do it.”
Knox let out a short laugh under his breath. “Yeah. But it's not really a choice, kid. Sometimes it just happens.”
She studied him carefully then, the way his jaw tightened after every sentence, the way he stared straight ahead instead of at her. Gigi had grown up around the Hawthornes long enough to recognize when someone was talking about themselves without meaning to.
“You're in love with someone.” she said softly.
Knox glanced at her finally. “I didn't say that.”
“You said enough,” Gigi spoke. She wasn't seen as the most perceptive person, but she knew for a fact that Knox Landry, whether he acknowledged it or not, was in love.
And Gigi suspected that had something to do with a certain driven, stunning, workaholic lawyer.
Silence settled again, both their minds whirring with realisations and extremely loud thoughts.
Gigi pulled her knees closer to her chest. “I think I might be in love.”
Knox looked at her.
She stared at the floor. “And it sucks”
That earned a real laugh from him, as he turned back with his back to the wall, putting an arm around her.
