Immortalizing my parents' Nativity scene in photos, because I love its theme of "everyone is invited".
There's the original set of figures, but also:
Some camels added later
Several dalahorses
A monk, a nun, and a medieval lady
A glass swan
A rhinoceros, an antelope (?), a lion and a tiger
An angel I made in elementary school
Several other mismatched angels of various materials
D:o sheep
A Gotland pony
A manger made from a match box
A house I can't place but I'm pretty sure is some kind of Swedish souvenire
When I was a kid there was also a seal and a glass duck, but the duck broke and I think the seal has been misplaced. Nevertheless, the feeling of "anything goes" remains.
