The first time in a while that the #TTC has been "The Better Way". Rumour has it he is the #violinist in a local band called #Jumple. Great start to my day! #subwayseranades (at TTC Subway Line)

September 26, 2012 - Another Party

I was throwing a fairly large party in my house (my childhood house). The front of the house was the same and normal looking but instead of a backyard I had a pretty spacious concert venue, club looking thing with a stage.

The band Jumple was meant to be the only band playing. I went up to talk to them and they told me they were going on first and were being followed by three other bands I barely knew or enjoyed. I was upset that they had to start and leave so early so I walked up to the bartender (who was really just some guy sitting on a stool next to a cooler).

I told him I wanted a glass of lemon juice and coke. He gave me a look and then poured my drink. I then realized I meant to actually have alcohol in that drink so I went into the cooler myself and was about to grab a bottle of Bevledere Vodka (which I've never actually drank before) but I grabbed a premixed can of Canadian Club and Coke.

I walked back into the crowd to mingle a bit and watch Jumple play. They only ended up playing one song and then leaving. Growing ever more frustrated with how the night was turning out, I walked to the front of my house, went to the bathroom, and found a horseshoe shaped thing.

I walked outside and stood in my driveway staring at nothing while still holding this horseshoe thing. Then I saw people coming toward my house so I tossed the thing into the garden and led them inside.

So the gypsy-punk scene in Toronto is very warm and awesome. Excellent music tonight, you Eastern-Europeans know what's up.
