I think Mello writes with a fountain pen, not necessarily in cursive, but maybe some of the letters are mixed in out of habit.

Later on in the mafia, he writes with a fancy black on he gets as a gift.

I imagine his hands used to have ink on them since he’d write a lot early on, he’d stain Matt’s as well.

I feel like we’re approaching a milestone on this account(at least for me) and I’d love to make a celebratory post.

So here’s my ask to whoever is interested, what would you like to see? I’m guessing it’ll be DeathNote related, but anything more specific? For example, head-canons, or any specific drawing/illustration ?

so sorry for the silence on here for the past few days, I have my final exams in less than 2 weeks and I studied literally nothing the whole year.

On a more interesting and Death Note related side note, I kept getting romanian dubbed death note clips sent to me by my friends on Tik tok, which I thought was pretty cool until I realised they were most likely ai.

Which was kind of a bummer

Anyway, out of spite me and 4 other friends have decided to dub clips (hopefully all of it at some point) of Death Note, just for fun it’s honestly not that serious, none of us ever voice acted before

This isn’t any sort of promotion or smth lmao, I just thought I’d be funny to update you guys on why I’ve been quiet ;)

Something I’ve been thinking about related to mellodramattic that I plan on hopefully making a comic on.

Some sort of relocating scenario (sometime after they reconnect, could be after the explosion) that puts them in a car for a long while, be it a few days. A road trip, in a way.

From Matt’s perspective, what could he say and do? I doubt Mello would be too talkative, but what do you tell someone you’ve felt abandoned by after the gimmicky car games stop working one hour in.

It’s an enclosed space, no chance to avoid, plus I feel like long car rides always end with some deep talk or argument.

Would he bring it up? The burning abandonment, the fear Mello would leave without a trace again? How much he feels he needs him around in some of the most unhealthiest ways?

(If it’s after the explosion) does he let Mello know he could still smell the blood soak into his car seat from said night no matter how much the car was cleaned? Would he shake him awake or call his name when Mello falls asleep, head on the window, in a position way too familiar to how he sat on the brink of death?

Would there be conversations of the future? Of the past?

Does he ask out loud what happened to them?

Im not sure, but I thought it was a cool concept that I’ll hopefully get to explore more, so consider it maybe a Roadtrip AU :D
